Someone posted a letter on redditt from law enforcement in Montgomey County which stated that attempted rape in 1982 was a misdemeanor and only had a 1 year SOL. However they didn't say they wouldn't investigate because, and they didn't say this but I am, how do you know the charge before you investigate?
