Because maybe you're part of it? Often times people can't see the error of their own ways.

The reason this is a gotcha, is because many posters, every outspoken trump diehard, attacked DeSantis because he was getting campaign contributions from big donors. And because of that, they said that DeSantis was becoming a mouth piece for big corporations and easily controlled. Now we, ronbots, argued with them and told them that despite the contriubtions and DeSantis stating "i'll be happy to take their money", he did not change his policy or stance on anything from his time as governor. We told them they were lying about this and they swore they no longer liked desantis because he was bought.

And now, you have Trump clearly backing bud light because they are holding a donor dinner for him, and telling everyone "bud light is ok now". And not a single one of those same people are condemning trump for doing what they accused DeSantis of doing.

That's the gotcha. And if you would have read some of the thread or been aware of anything over the past 2 years on this board, you would know that.

Well, then the excuse of, "but they donated to military, the man driving delivery trucks aren't at fault" and all of that bullshite hannity was spewing yesterday on the radio. Why then, doesn't dana seek sponsorship from Miller/Coors? Or what about Yuengling, a true AMERICAN OWNED company, and the oldest brewery in the United States? Why not make them the key sponsor? Why? Because they don't have pockets nearly as deep as Anheuser-Busch.

So it all boils down to 1 thing. A company desperate for money, and a corporation with deep pockets looking to rebrand themselves after self-sabbotaging themselves.

I said it in the past, if Bud Light actually made a legitimate heartfelt apology. Apologized for leaning into woke culture and attacking the "drunk frat bros", then i et they could restore their brand much quicker. But they haven't done that. And they won't do that, why? Because as much as they know their core constituent used to be red america, they care more about what NY Times, WAPO, and the rest of the liberal media says about them than they do who drinks their beer. I'm sure if you researched, many of their lobbyists are democrats.

Done. Easy. Both are a ridiculous and self-defeating line in the sand people on the right seem to be drawing with candidates as the left laughs all the way to bank (and the White House).

Trump doesn't need Woke Beer's money, just like the UFC and Dana White didn't need their money. And while I can just not watch the UFC, there is going to be a president, and that president will either be Trump or a marxist/socialist. This makes me like Trump even less, but I'm still voting for him.
