The ignorance here never surprises me. It’s already illegal for companies to contribute directly to candidates in federal elections.

I wouldn’t say that. Just the handful of turds like Kingzinger, Collins and Murkowski. She could raise a billion and still wouldn’t matter

I wonder how long it's been since she actually lived in WY? I bet she was raised in d.c. and stayed there.

She’ll win because there will be enough “Republicans” to split the vote and guarantee she gets in the runoff. The weakest possible candidate will make the runoff and say something idiotic to guarantee Liz the GOP nomination.

Sounds like she is going to blow a whole lot of money only to lose. But seriously, campaign finance is totally out of control.

She’s an evil woman. She is only interested in the military industrial complex profiteering from illegal and unnecessary wars.

Companies should not be able to donate to politicians and only their constituents should be.

Make that the law, establish term limits and pay Congress more for the service.
The latter sounds nuts, but how can you expect intelligent, civil minded citizens, who have businesses to run, practices to maintain, or just have a good career in an industry, to make the commitment to leave their trade, run of office and upon victory establish a second residence in one of the most expensive cities in the nation.
But consider this, a house rep is figuratively speaking, on the board of directors of the largest company in the world. You have to pay them for taking on that challenge.

Is there really a difference between a corporation donating directly to a candidate and donating to a PAC that then donates to a candidate? It's still a corporation giving money to a candidate.

This type of shite needs to be banned. In state donations should be at least 50 percent. I’d actually be fine with it being stuck to almost 100 percent.

Should be illegal to accept any contributions from outside your state.

Political contributions should be limited to INDIVIDUALS (not corporations) who reside within the candidate's district/jurisdiction. And raise that $2500 limit.

I can only give $2500 but Meta can give $250,000 (or more). It's entirely fascist from its very inception.

Don't remember exactly when. But her and her husband bought a home outside of Yellowstone. In Wyoming, that's like living in California. The purchase was recent, a few years ago. She went a long time without owning a house at all. That should have made her elections illegal.

If she doesn't get the cattle, pronghorn and buffalo vote, she's toast.
