Vance is a fricking snake.
I don’t know why anyone is surprised someone who LITERALLY called Trump LITERALLY HITLER, and then joined him as a running mate, is now cozying up to anti-Trump pundits because it may be politically expedient to pivot.

I really like this trend of getting different people from the Cabinet to play the role of Press Secretary. Gives you an opportunity to see slightly different viewpoints from the administration. I'd love to see this be the standard going forward.

If it hasn't been obvious to you it should definitely be obvious to you now that this guy is a lightweight snake. He has as much of a shot of winning the Presidency as Kamala Harris does.

I share the concern that Vance might be a Thiel trojan horse.
As for his former revulsion of Trump, I think that's explained by personalities. Trump has a unique personality. It takes a while to appreciate that those traits are exactly what was needed for the moment to change the trajectory of the country...for the better.

I agree. He would make a good press secretary, but he will never be POTUS. He is a savvy politician, I'll give him that, but even Trump has made it known that he expects the next POTUS to be Rubio, knowing full well Vance intends to run.
