I guess Page and her lawyers decided that contempt was a lesser charge than the crimes she would be forced to admit to and the crimes that would out the DOJ and FBI.

Strozyk is trying to portray himself as the hero and any investigation in to him as a win for Putin.
Which is ironic because subverting a duly elected president with a sham investigation is much more like Putin than constitutional oversight.
