User’s Manual To Graham Being Honored in the Capitol Rotunda Tuesday?Per Pergram-Capitol Hill
Information about the ceremony honoring late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) in the Capitol Rotunda is still fragmentary. But this is what we have for now.
The ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda begins at 10 am et.
Graham will NOT “lie in state” or “in honor” in the Rotunda. This is a first for Congress to commemorate any figure inside the Capitol Rotunda without them formally lying in state or in honor.
If they were to lie in state or honor, there would have to be a public viewing for a time. We are told that the family did not want that.
Late President Jimmy Carter was the last person to lie in state in the Rotunda in early 2025.
We expect a hearse to bring Graham’s casket to the East Front of the Capitol sometime between 9:30 and 10 am et.
A six-person Armed Forces body bearer team, which is comprised of service members from all branches, will bring Graham’s casket out of the hearse, walk up the steps and escort it into the Rotunda.
Graham’s casket will lie on a replica of the catafalque. Congress used the original catafalque (a large wooden platform) for President Lincoln’s funeral in 1865. The old catafalque is used if someone lies in state. A replica is used for this ceremony this Graham is not lying in state.
A U.S. Capitol Police honor guard will then stand watch over Graham’s casket.
Fox is told that Members of Congressional leadership will speak. It is unclear if Sen. Darline Graham (R-SC) will speak.
The ceremony is only supposed to run until about 10:30.
At that point, the Armed Forces body bearer team will take the casket out of the Rotunda and return it to the hearse. We expect the departure to take about a half hour or so.
The hearse will then take Graham’s remains to the National Cathedral in Northwest Washington, DC for the ceremony there. It begins at 2 pm et.

Graham did confess his part with McCain in crossfire hurricane and provided documents of the intel committee he chaired ATM... to provide evidence it was a coup.
He was a diehard neocon...He was a sneaky politician that straddled fences. But became pissed when they wanted to take out Kavanaugh. but I think he genuinely loved playing golf with Trump and liked him and shared humor.

Well, we know he wasn’t a practicing Southern Baptist or else he would have been buried two days after death at 10 am. We don’t have to wait for our folks from Detroit or Cleveland to arrive. We plant ‘em and move on. We have a job that’s counting on us to be there.

Well...there is embalming nowadays. Waiting on world leaders, security concerns and planning...I don't think it will be used against Graham... and not a sure fire way to judge his soul or denomination rights.
