On Sunday, General Glen VanHerck, the USAF General responsible for American airspace, was asked by reporters if they had “ruled out” aliens or extraterrestrials being responsible for the recent balloon activity.
“I’ll let the intel community and the counter-intelligence community figure that out,” VanHerck said. “I haven’t ruled out anything. At this point, we continue to assess every threat or potential threat, unknown, that approaches North America with an attempt to identify it.”

I’m sure if it were aliens and they had the technology to reach earth from wherever the frick they were from , they wouldn’t let a measly human made missile take out their air craft

There is a big difference between a balloon and aliens. It needs to be cleared up. And do you think there is a civilization that can travel at the speed of light to get here and monitor us? And that use some sort of octagonal balloons to do it?

If aliens are releasing balloons from spacecraft, how do they make then “float” down to our atmosphere? Aren’t balloons usually lighter than air and float up.
