Liberals blaming Trump for the economy.

I unlike most, listen/read to both liberal and conservative media. I like to get both side’s point of view. One of the left wing guys I listen to was quoting the unemployment numbers etc, and blaming the poor state of the economy on Trump. This is so incredibly disingenuous. The whole covid thing was a completely unforeseen and uncontrollable situation. Also if anything, it’s been the liberals/democrats making the economy even worse than it has/had to be because of the super strict regulations and shutdowns in Democratic run states. How unfair is this to blame Trump for the poor state of the economy while simultaneously advocating for harsher restrictions on businesses?

If COVID never happened, and the economy was continuing to grow at the record pace it was, that same POS Filth would have told you it was because of Obama.

Now you see why the democrats want to crash the economy. When they say "by any means necessary!" they mean it. If millions Americans have to lose their livelihoods, its worth it to the democrat cabal. They love people living in chaos and desperation, easier to manipulate and control. Making everyone a helpless victim is their everyday goal.

As some here know, I’m not a fan of the president but blaming him for the economy is either ignorant or as you stated, disingenuous. There’s no basis for it.
The sad thing is, there’s plenty enough about the president to criticize without inventing shite.
I’ve always been an independent voter but have never felt so in no man’s land as now. Everyone’s either extreme crazy left, or so invested in Trump, they will defend him no matter how much stupid shite he spits. It’s as if common sense, and particularly objectivity, has no place in politics because everyone’s so polarized.

Unemployment is up 3% since Trump took office. The deficit has skyrocketed. Sure it’s not his fault it’s not like he is in charge of anything. If a Democrat posted the same results we’d call them out on it. Just own it. Yes the economy has gotten worse under the Trump watch, maybe somebody else would do better maybe they would do worse. Let’s apply the same standard regardless of who is in office.
