I would call myself a liberal. I also wouldn’t align myself with the most extreme examples of liberalism out there, such as the ones you mentioned. Most liberals aren’t insane—just like most conservatives aren’t. We’re all decent folks doing our best. Watching cable news nonstop will have you believing otherwise.
