Many years ago I was on a flight and I noticed the flight attendants were stopping and chatting with the woman in front of me much more than other passengers.

As we started the descent I felt a nudge on my foot, looked under the seat in front of me and there was a labrador. As we departed she said goodbye to the attendants and I noticed she was looking at them and walking with no trouble, obviously not blind (this was years before the comfort nonsense).

So I had to ask, she smiled before I finished and said, Im a trainer for seeing eye dogs. As a final exam we take them on a long trip in a crowded space, bus, subway, or plane. Young Duke here just finished his final exam with flying colors, he has a new owner who is anxiously awaiting the results, she has fallen in love with Duke, she will be very very happy.

She said look at him he knows he passed. Duke's tail was just a wagging, he had the expression of "how ya like me now". Very very nice.

100% agree. I wonder if someone with allergies has any rights over an animal.

People that feel they need to take there pets everywhere, treating them as humans, are attention seekers, and have emotional problems.

Has nothing to do with hating dogs. It has to do with people who feel they need to treat their animal as human, and forcing others to do so, or be accused of "hating dogs"

I group these people no differently than people who speak on speaker at the grocery.

Selfish people.

For the most part, I agree.

But ask yourself this: Would you rather fly with a plane load of Dukes and his handlers, or a plane load of Karens?

I wonder if the owner realizes Duke's background will only make this progressive twit hate him and the dog more.

I kid, I bet he does and is proud of it, as he should be.

That’s a great story an all. But I have to ask; why’s that dude wearing body armor?

If the dog and the woman were in the water drowning, I would save the dog.

What a great shot.

Damn, I'd much rather sit next to the canine, not the real dog of this story. I hope they kicked her nasty arse off.

Also, I might be a little bit gay now.... lol.

Neither do 50% of the passengers on a plane.

At least the dog only takes up one seat compared to the obese americans on the plane.

I don't think so. The dog could pilot the plane if ordered.

Should have told Duke to take a chunk out of her presumably fat arse.
