I don't get what you are getting at here?

Many of the ultra rich would be just fine with higher tax rates and have come out and said it
You mean like Warren Buffett routinely bitching about secretaries paying a higher tax rate than he does, yet planning to pay the US not 1¢ in taxes on his death. NOT ONE CENT!!!
Is that WTF you are referencing you naive fool?

Was it ok that woman got shot in the throat?
Your reference was to upheaval.

Wow, name calling?
He is planning to give away I believe 99% of his worth at his death. And has said many times rich people should be taxed at higher rates.
What does giving his money to the government have to do with anything? He is giving his money away to other charities and programs.

Are conservatives or liberals more pro social programs/assistance? I swear reading this thread is like being in an alternate universe. People on the right favor taxing the rich and are pro social programs. Hahah if it were only so.

So you are saying he is giving away his money. And he choose a cause that would help a lot of people. The Gates foundation has done tons of help for African nations fighting diseases.
If he was taxed more, then more of that money would have stayed in the US and perhaps gone to social programs.

So he doesn’t utilize deductions?

Please let me know which social programs you support
Medicaid, for one.
TANF for another.
WIC
Your generalization is sweeping and inaccurate. As a conservative we prefer less government because government is not to be trusted. That’s accurate.
Not having support for the needy is absolutely a falsehood you are trying to perpetuate. Conservatives just don’t want people subsiding off of those programs.

We shouldn’t have a system that leaves the needs of the deserving poor to the voluntary whim of the rich and powerful

So you are saying he is giving away his money.
I'm saying he is doing anything but.
I am saying Buffett is a genius regarding asset preservation. That is how he's made billions in US markets, none of which the US will ever see.
Are you clued in yet?

Should Buffett pay more taxes IYO?

Both are example of budgetary cost savings
