Many of the ultra rich would be just fine with higher tax rates and have come out and said it.
Nothing prevents them from paying more. Nothing.

Many liberals would like higher taxes for the rich and even going a down a little in order to create programs that would help people such as expanding medicare or the fact that social security exists.
You could tax every dollar in income over $1million and you could not balance the current budget. How aer you going to "tax the rich" to "pay for" new progreams?

Most conservatives are against government programs to help others.
Indeed. They are generally against theft. Taking something from someone under threat of jail doesn't equal charity.

Secondly, why are trying to force your morality on others?

We shouldn’t have a system that leaves the needs of the deserving poor to the voluntary whim of the rich and powerful
Backwards. Given the disproportionate shaer of taxes paid... "The rich" need protection from the voters.

If you did what she did, given all of the circumstances of it being the US capitol, etc, would you expect to get shot?

Should Buffett pay more taxes to the US? Given a US debt he's encouraged? Given the profits he's reaped?

You're damn right Buffett should pay more taxes to the US!

NEVER!!!!

If I were the murderer, I'd expect treatment in kind. Every day of my life in wait for a hot eternity.

That's why he's a Democrat!

Which brings the question to you. Why are you a Democrat?

It was unfortunate, but the ultimate, “play stupid games, win stupid prizes” she was actively coming through a barricaded window.

I’m a millennial homeowner and I make six figures. How much do you make? And do you like the idea of an upheaval? You think it’s OK for the poor getting poorer and the rich getting richer? Cool.

If true, then you are stupid.

Only idiots want to give D.C. their money instead of spending it on their family.

I hope you don't have children.

CEO #1: We promised you all raises. You will still get them, but they may be cut.

CEO #2: We are firing 4/5ths of our employees

Both are example of budgetary cost savings

Somewhat true. But in scenario 2 are you just firing or reducing head count capacity overall?

You might have actually increased your expenses there if you have to rehire.

What were really talking about here though I'd the difference in financial budget planning and live action.

Congress is responsible for setting the budget. when they plan the budget slashing growth is definitely a cost saving for that activity. It also means that with inflation, population growth, and economic growth expectations they are effectively shrinking that part of the government overtime.

No. Especially after the other cops behind her didn’t find it necessary to shoot her.

Something you freaks always leave out.

Who do you take from now? Corporations? Are you aware that corporations are just people? And a lot of average folks own these corporations. If you have a retirement account or participate in a pension plan, you're one of those average folks who has an ownership stake.

I certainly don't know all the ins and outs, but didn't Amazon go a couple or few years in a row just recently without paying any taxes? Fixing whatever rule that was that got them to pay $0 would seem like a pretty good start to fixing some of these issues.

Besos model is to take losses for as long as possible and grow revenue until eventually he just cant expand anymore.

Reality is we probably need to tighten up business expense rules, reduce tax deductions credits for corporations, and then cut then cut the rate hell probably in half and you'd still increase the effective rate. There is that much pork in the tax credit game for corporations.

It's hard to even compare our corporate tax rate to other countries because of the pork.

Funny. It’s always “tax the rich”, never “help the poor.”
