Wealth distribution is a fallacy meant to divide. I have consistently acquired more wealth. I was born into poverty.

Under the Trump administration the median income rose the at highest rate since Clinton. It outpaced inflation. He cut taxes on all.

Do you understand that is 180° opposite this:

Only in government world is reducing a proposed spending increase from 6% to 2% a "spending cut". Plus, it's considered a "draconian cut".

Are you really arguing that the right favors taxing the ultra rich more than the left?

My dad’s CEO of a bank and my mom is a teacher for special ed kids. Also donate to LSU and have a scholarship in their name. So yeah, they’re losers.

I’m a millennial homeowner and I make six figures. How much do you make? And do you like the idea of an upheaval? You think it’s OK for the poor getting poorer and the rich getting richer? Cool.

Good point. Ad hominem attacks aren’t the lowest form of argument or anything

Who bitched about the elimination of SALT deductions? It sure wasn’t poor folks from red states. It was very much wealthy folks from blue states.

Good for you. Much deserved kudos. Plenty of people have come from nothing, hats off to them. My point is, no matter what, there will always be a bottom. There’s no reason why they shouldn’t make a little more, and billionaires make a little less.

There is though. The reason is that they can both make more.

Are you saying the right favors taxing the ultra rich more? Don’t be cryptic, I will say clearly that is not true, the left clearly favors that more.

It has nothing to do with "taxing". (That's a clue) I am simply laying facts at your feet.

You asked the question. I answered:

The proof is in the pudding. The vast majority of "ultra rich" are DEMOCRATS! You figure it out.

Then it’s a wash. There’s a finite amount of money (well, before Biden... )

Not cryptic. That was an example showing you that you’re incorrect. Wealthy blue state Democrats clearly did not favor their loss of SALT deductions.

I don't get what you are getting at here? Not everyone is only focused on themselves and only looking for ways to profit more and more.

Many of the ultra rich would be just fine with higher tax rates and have come out and said it. Just like many of these billionaires have also pledged to give away 90% of their wealth when they die.

It is a major difference in how conservatives and liberals think differently. Many liberals would like higher taxes for the rich and even going a down a little in order to create programs that would help people such as expanding medicare or the fact that social security exists.

Most conservatives are against government programs to help others.

Absolutely false.

Conservatives dislike the perpetual dependence on social programs. There is a big difference.

Please let me know which social programs you support?

I didn't give a reason why conservatives are against it. But yes, they are. It is a deep distrust with government and belief that anything the government touches will turn to crap.

But at the end of the day, it boils down to being against government programs to help others.
