Exactly. This increase is most likely due your basic woke white females claiming gay or bi because it makes them look more acceptable to their liberal friends. This is what we used to call “going through a phase”.

A friend of mine is a youth pastor, and he says that he estimates that around 25% of his youth identify as somewhere in the alphabet spectrum. And this is among teenagers who will actually attend an evangelical church.

A ton of younger women are Bi now. Like I'd bet 25 percent of 18-25 year old girls are Bi at this point. They are learning what we've known..pussy is amazing..but women are a headache so full lesbo is not an option

Gays make more money than heterosexuals so there is a direct benefit associated with coming out .

Yeah I actually read this study and article and it actually points to this as the reason for the increase.

I would guess the biggest majority of those are women that say they are bi. Not really basing it on anything but pop culture.

I'm pretty sure most of that increase has to do with bi-sexuals. My sister (no pics) identifies as bi-sexual and I'm 100% sure she has never kissed a girl in her entire life. She's married to a man.

Yes the author links a recent poll showing increased support and acceptance for LGBT people and makes the logical conclusion that this environment would lead to more people being comfortable about being honest about their sexuality. Coupled with the fact that the younger generation who grew up during this period of acceptance now make up more of this poll than when it was last done 4 years ago it seems like the likely reasoning.
(And even in your strange theory that people can magically switch back and forth between sexualities by choice, presumably more people are choosing to be gay because it is more acceptable in society)

Anyway, mom says he was very outgoing and extroverted until he was 12/13 and then became very quiet and depressed; until he finally came out as trans and was very happy again.
However, if you had seen this kid, he was far from happy: Pale, dark spots under his eyes, etc. I expect that kid’s life to end horribly unless something is done to correct it.

Mental illness is a terrible thing but for some reason we have chosen to celebrate it rather than treat it in this country... The entirety of the trans movement is nothing more than mental illness...

She was mad at me when the final singer of the night was a huge black guy, who had lost 200lbs to slim down to 400. He was wearing a red sweater.

He did have a very good voice, though.
