Well, just for one - President Nixon appointed the man who went on to approve him being named an unindicted co-conspirator.
Of course, he tried to fire his way out of that too first...

Well at least they probably hope they don't work to to undermine their administration. If you don't like him, find another job.

President Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski launched a new website on Tuesday intended to boost a potential 2020 Senate bid against Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D) in New Hampshire.
Lewandowski tweeted about the website in the midst of a chaotic House Judiciary Committee hearing in which he delivered a full-throated defense of Trump and railed against the myriad investigations into the president, his associates and his conduct.
“New website just launched to help a potential senate run,” Lewandowski tweeted, along with a link to the website StandWithCorey.com. “Sign up now!”

It's Trump's paranoia that has him frame investigations as undermining.
Justice departments routinely investigate White Houses. It happens just about every presidency. It goes with the territory, but Trump is too much of a snowflake to put up with it.

You spend too much time on one-sided news sites. I get the impression you don't see the whole picture like I do.

You must have forgotten that Trump was illegally spied on and the entire Russia collusion theory was a hoax
I'm not surprised you still support these bullshite investigations.

No way, baw. If you want to look at romanticizing the past, look at Trump's desperate specific requests to find a "Roy Cohn", a literal mob lawyer to protect him from being investigated.
