I’ve been respectful in my comments and responses in this thread. So I’ll be blunt with you:
I really don’t give a shite what you do, especially you. If you’re so interested in the knowledge, look it up yourself. And you’re not ignoring me.

Their bits weren't as long and rambling, were actually pretty good- if you can find it, it's worth watching.

So Trump, along with doctors, spoke on the issue. You say Trump is a dumbass and needs to keep his mouth shut and let qualified people speak. And then you admit that out of Trump and the qualified doctors, you only listened to Trump. Why would you listen to Trump and not the doctors if you already thought Trump was such a dumbass? Sounds like maybe Trump isn't the only dumbass in your scenario.

Going to be difficult.

On one hand you have the sycophants who will attack any perceived negative portrayal of Trump.

On the other hand there are the TDS morons instantly dismissive of it because he said it.

The truth in this instance is that there is no definitive correlation. There is suggestive evidence that there may be given over half the studies show it. (Yes I looked at several and their methodology) That is worthy of issuing a use warning for the drug for expectant mothers.

So no, this is not something I would consider worthy of a presidential announcement. It could only detract from progress toward figuring out why the results are not conclusive.

Seriously... find the rest of it, it's shorter and better and you might appreciate it.

Just wanna point out that getting a clip of Trump didn't really inform you very well on what's been addressed in this thread.

I was informed that he is dumb in this way. I understand the state of the science, fortunately, because I didn’t only rely on Trump. And I also haven’t relied only on CNN.com, either.

He has entire country talking about this issue... pretty smart if you ask me. I mean, someone sent you a video clip and here you are discussing it... Trump can't say acetaminophen without assistance but he sure as hell knows how to draw attention to a topic- attention from haters and admirers alike.

Wonderful. I’m glad he is sacrificing his credibility for that reason. He sounding fricking stupid is what was needed to get the country talking about this important issue and in now way distracts from a constructive debate.

His credibility takes no hit- people have already picked sides years ago.

It worked, can't argue with results.

Plenty people are debating it... many threads on this board alone. Yes, there are those much like yourself that wish to keep the focus on "Trump Stupid", but a lot of us listened to the WHOLE video, looked at the releases from whitehouse.gov and the FDA and have debated the merits.

Just because some people are out there harping on Trump or swallowing handfuls of tylenol doesn't mean the rest of us can't reasonably discuss the issue.

You’re shockingly stupid to not read what you posted as use it sparingly. Wow. Don’t procreate, please.

Anyone else notice that one of the links on the Whitehouse.gov page was to a 2021 Consensus Statement which included safety concerns beyond Autism? Why did the FDA ignore these other concerns in their letter to physicians? Note that APAP and Paracetamol = acetaminophen.

Paracetamol use during pregnancy - a call for precautionary action
quote:

The experimental evidence of urogenital and reproductive effects
Consistent with evidence from epidemiological studies, exposure to APAP has been linked to abnormalities in testicular function, sperm abnormalities and the development of male reproductive disorders [across a range of studies involving in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo models (Supplementary Table 2). These data suggest that several mechanisms of action result in decreases in hormones critical for normal reproductive development and inhibition of germ cell proliferation and differentiation. For example, experimental studies have suggested that APAP can reduce testosterone production in the human fetal testis. Treatment of pregnant mice and rats with APAP has been found to cause urogenital abnormalities, such as reduced AGD in male offspring that is coupled to decreased hormonal levels during the masculinization programming window. Differences and inconsistencies remain between studies that might be related to several factors, including species, strain, age, developmental stage, dose, duration, and route and schedule of administration, among others. However, strong evidence from rodent studies and experiments with human cells and tissue performed in several independent laboratories shows that both acute (for example, 24 h) and long-term (for example, 1 week) exposure to APAP results in a reduction in fetal androgens

Four independent research teams have found consistently that prenatal APAP exposure can reduce female reproductive health and fertility. These teams utilized different models in both rats and mice with APAP exposure at doses equivalent or close to the maximal human recommended dose from 7 days post coitum to birth or from 13.5 days post coitum to birth. The combined data show that APAP exposure results in the reduction of primordial germ cells and delayed meiotic entry, which leads to a decreased number of follicles in adult ovaries and subsequent infertility through early-onset ovarian insufficiency. Importantly, the effects of APAP on female development have not yet been properly investigated in human observational studies.

Apparently preclinical data as detailed above is extensive, some of which goes back decades.

While I wasn't a fan of Trump's delivery on this topic, perhaps he has caused appropriate attention to be given to the probability that acetaminophen is not the benign drug many believe it to be.
