Meh, many Americans understand that both socialism and religion are nonsense.
Religious freedom is certainly not nonsense.

History is what this battle is about.
A mob of revolutionaries are trying to reshape the cultural fabric of this nation. It has nothing to do with the propriety of statues in the public square.
No, they’re doing it because they understand that when you eliminate a people’s past, you get to control their future. It’s a power grab, pure and simple: whoever controls history, controls the future.
In a perverse way, we should be thankful about that because it removes any doubt about their ultimate objective. If anyone doesn’t understand this or if anyone plays along and claims that these violent protests arise from legitimate political grievances, they are a fool or your enemy.

They want the right to have no voice and to be powerless at a minimum. Their ultimate desire is that you are eliminated along with your family and all your property seized by the government. Not much you can do yo compromise with people who want your destruction.

quote: We've seen the societal results of American liberty without Christian morality. It has blue hair, and it thinks a woman can have a penis, children as young as 5 can have sex-change operations, and porn is harmless. Freedom without morality is destructive. And morality without Christianity is relative and arbitrary. Social justice comes to mind
That's your interpretation of Christian morality. There are vast differences between different sects of Christianity, and even within among those sects' own populace. The Episcopal Church is okay with gay and lesbian people; the Catholic Church isn't (even though individuals in each group may feel differently). The Methodist Church is about to split over this. You may feel one group is less Christian, but they sure don't. Some folks would consider Westboro Baptist to be less Christian, but they sure don't. Also, certain aspects of morality can be universal, even though they may be part of the Christian tradition. Considering murder or theft to be immoral is not confined only to Christianity.
It's pretty simple, you either believe the moral law of the Creator is righteous and for the betterment of mankind or you don't. It's pretty simple, you either believe in all of Jesus Christ's teachings or you don't. As we are seeing today more and more Christians are tacking towards the way of the world therefore the Church as a whole seems to follow because they want people in the pews. Some of the blame can be placed on the various Christian denominations for bending to public pressure to be less orthodox and strict in moral absolutes. I've heard it said if you want to explain the behavior of a church's congregation look at the church's pastors and elders.

I think that's close but to further dumb it down it's probably closer to collectivists vs. individualism. One is more seducing to the human mind, and that's why it has never left western civilization for hundreds of years.

It's God.
God stands with me, who dares to stand against me?
My church states gays and lesbians are within God's favor, you think it's a good idea to disagree with God?

Your church should follow scripture.

don't want to be held accountable for their immoral behavior and they certainly don't want anyone speaking out or judging their lifestyles or ideology.
Just this sentence alone makes me think you are referring to the catholic church.

Conservatives aren't the only patriots. I know they like to wrap the flag around themselves and claim being true patriots but I find little evidence of that among many and certainly they aren't more patriotic than moderates or liberals.
The original pledge of allegiance didn't contain "under God". That phrase was added in 1954.
If you want to believe in a god that's fine and it's your right. However just espousing righteousness doesn't make it so. The amoral behavior that is see has nothing to do with the babble you wrote. It's about greed and self serving bullshite. It's Trump, Falwell, Graham and the rest of the asshats who pervert the vary notion of an all loving, merciful diety.

So everything is defined by race?? You cannot believe that. The only color any good business owner knows is green.
It boils down to individual responsibility. And within that, there must be an acceptance of others making their own (sometimes dumb) decisions. Meaning, it is not the responsibility of the many to help the dumb overcome their own decisions.

One set of folks love them selves and enjoy life, the other loves being miserable and wants more of it.
