Legally, can Trump/Barr do anything about mail-in ballots?

If it’s obvious to them and everybody else that there is mass fraud going on, as commander in Chief, does Trump have any power to stop this? Does Barr?

I ask this because it’s sounding more and more like we are just gonna have to bend over and accept the fraudulent fricking and very possibly a demented old puppet as our president elect on November 4th

You find the actual fraud, toss out those ballots, and prosecute those responsible. That's how it works.

Thanks to Roberts, Trump could just write an Executive Order that mail in ballots are illegal in a federal election. After all, EOs are laws now.

Yes. Enforce state laws that dictate when conditions forail in ballots and time frames that ballots must be received by.

Democrats are going to push hard to accept all ballots, regardless of whether they were received after deadline or not cplete (i.e. Not signed).

Edit: Barr made clear in his house testimony that he would uphold state laws on these issues. And democrats said it was concerning that he agreed to follow the law.

Sure. How long does that take?

They won't be able to determine who voted by mail and then again in person for months. And, they won't be able to prosecute them. "I didn't sign that ballot. I didn't mail that in."

This meme again (PS it wasn't an EO)

From what I've read, it's usually a pretty simple process actually.

Voters have to be registered. Whoever someone votes they are marked in the system as having voted. If a second vote comes in for the same voter, they know.

On the scale we are talking about that will take weeks or months. Just look at the primaries in GA. They had over 1,000 people mail in an ABSENTEE ballot and then also voted in person. There is absolutely no way somebody does know they sent in an ABSENTEE ballot. Identifying this took a month.

Now extrapolate that out to all mail in ballots where mass mailing to unpurged voter rolls are common. It would be just like the Bi-partisan Carter commission said....to easy to commit voter fraud.

How do you know they are marked in the system as having voted? If the second vote is in person and is a push of the button, how do they catch it in time? How do they know who they pushed the button for?

How did Georgia have 1000 people vote by mail and in person recently?

that's OK and all and will deal with the fraudsters in the legal/criminal sense,

but it doesn't solve anything in the political sense, where you could find out months later that the commander in chief shouldn't even be in office.

1,000 people doubled up.. out of nearly 2 million?

The horror... 0.05%

Except that's literally not how it works. Vote has to be certified by December. What you're proposing would take any 3 letter agency the rest of the century to uncover and prosecute.

Op, It wouldnt surprise me if USPS to be furloughed after dismal 2021 budget due to CV19. I also think they've conceded the presidential election in lieu of stealing House/Senate spots

That's enough to turn an election.

Stop cheating, Democratic Devils!

BTW, you've been an awfully active little alter-boy....

Whose alter are you?

Don't be stupid. States like Michigan were extremely close in 2016. The numbers are not insignificant. If that happens in a red state like GA, what is going to happen in a state like MI or PA?

Well, they will accept all that vote Dem, toss out any they are not sure of that are Reps.

As other said, can't stop the mail ins in these states, but I hope Trump has an army of people in place to be at every polling station, every place where votes are being counted.

When a voter shows up to vote in person, the poll book will typically indicate if the voter has been issued a vote-by-mail ballot — and may even show the poll worker if that ballot has already been processed.

States vary on what happens next, but voting experts say all states have checks in place to avoid voters casting two votes. In some states, a poll worker may be able to void the mailed ballot if the voter prefers to vote in person. In other states, the voter may be given a provisional ballot and election officials will determine if the provisional ballot should be counted.

Vote-by-mail ballots are verified before they are counted, and one check is whether the voter already voted.

“States have different processes, they have their own ways of making sure that two ballots don’t get counted,” said Myrna Pérez, the director of voting rights and elections at the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law.

Mickey, do you support Biden’s plan to raise corporate taxes on day 1?

He said it yesterday in an interview
