Rittenhouse committed murder. You said that.
You and little Ooga seem to think I will back away from that earlier statement. I will not. I corrected my initially-poor word choice, but the sustance of my position is unchanged.
Kyle Rittenhouse committed two homicides. This is an objective fact. It is my SUBJECTIVE opinion that those two homicides were privileged/justified/excused (different terminology in different States) by the doctrine of self-defense. He will thus not be convicted of homicide.
In the Dolloff case, I have NOT expressed a similar opinion, because we have not yet seen a video of the entire sequence. My initial impression, however, is that neither party was an affirmative “bad guy” and that the eventual shooting was the result of a series of bad decisions and escalations by both parties. It is quite possible that Dolloff may be convicted, but I give it less than a 50% likelihood solely due to the manner in which Colorado assigns the burden of proof.
If Dolloff (rather than the State) had the burden, his chances of conviction would be markedly-higher.
Unlike most here, I do not believe that he was out looking to collect a Trumpkin pelt.

Interesting since I acknowledged your “mistake”.

Having done extensive work as an expert witness, I’ve noticed most lawyers tend to think they’re smarter than they actually are.

so the guy being attacked by firebombs is a murderer and the guy who gunned down a dude in cold blood made a bad decision

Thanks for adding that. I missed his name.

The average lawyer IQ is in the mid 120s. In my opinion, that is barely bright enough to pour piss out of a boot.

There’s no contract.
There’s no subcontractor.
If there was, we’d know who it was.

so the guy being attacked by firebomb (committed homicide)
Homicide is the killing of one person by another. This is a broad term that includes both legal and illegal killings. This is not a difficult concept.
