The father of arithmetic is an Indian guy. And the earliest math came from what is currently Iraq. Islamic mathematics is what spread to Europe and what’s still in use today. They were the first to study algebra.

You make excellent points, however they have no bearing on what the OP is criticizing and mischaracterizing.

In short, the OP is wrong, and there is no such charge in the subject graphic, which is plenty stupid, just not in the way the OP accuses.

The graphic is a pyramid that purports to show the underlying tenants that result in racism. One of those is the (seemingly reasonable) assertion that “math is neutral because 2+2=4.” Now, this is a stupid graphic and a stupid POV, but it is a far cry from saying “2+2=4 is racist.” Instead it is saying that claiming the neutrality of math, due to it being fixed and provable, is a tenant of a culture that ultimately supports hard racism. Stupid? Yes. But not what the OP says it is.

“2+2=4” is as racist as “Black Lives Matter” thinks Black Lives actually matters.

The point of sharing this article was to show the level of absurdity that the Left has achieved in pushing their ideology on our children.

We are getting our arses kicked on the world stage because, while China and Russia are learning about math, science, art, teamwork, and pushing oneself, our children are learning about how White Supremacy is the root of all evil in the world.

Instead of learning simple, provable concepts like 2+2=4, they are learning to reject that answer because White Supremacy. Their heads are being filled with worthless, evil, radical dogma that, at that formative age, is cementing their thought processes as tenets in the Church of Liberalism, where 2+2 can equal “dog”, if that’s “their truth.”

While Chinese children are learning Calculus, children in Western Civilization are learning to judge people by the color of their skin, and that you can do whatever you want to a white person and it’ll be ok.

While the article didn’t mention racism per se, it did lean heavily on blaming math’s discrete answers as being steeped in White Supremacy.

At this point, have we lost an entire generation, or two, to this radicalized, racially charged ideologies? How far will we fall on the world stage before we right the ship?
