SpaceX is getting permits approved in 180 days when it legally takes 365. The Corp and others who run the area are scrambling

I don't think I know enough about this. I'm really curious about the Exxon settlement stuff. I need to do some reading.

More potential Malfeasance?

At least there's an actual allegation of "potential malfeasance" in this instance, which is conspicuously absent from the debate over the Orleans Criminal Clerk.

But secret NDA's are okay for data centers.

This lawsuit won’t amount to a hill of beans., If they find that they violated open meetings all they have to do is redo the meeting allow some public comment and then they’re gonna sign the deal again anyway

I sign NDA's all the time for projects we bid. This is standard practice and I would hold public officials to the same confidentiality.

So you don’t want full transparency among elected officials?

Which makes one wonder why open meetings were circumvented in the first place.

Louisiana people: we are poor and it's not fair so we are gonna bitch about it
Spacex: We are going to build a facility that is going to provide good jobs and invest in the community.
Louisiana people: No you can't do that cause then we won't be able to bitch and complain about being poor.

Yeah, let's screw up something that would be good for Louisiana just because Elon Musk is too smart to align himself with left-wing loons like 4cubbies.

1) It's really pathetic how messed up you are.

2) As I've said before, you should be the Poster Girl for everything that's wrong with New Orleans.

Are you opposed to Musk bringing jobs to LA or just because he doesn't vote like you?

You're the one who said "More potential Malfeasance" - now it's "apples and oranges"?

Not surprising that Louisiana will find a way to F U every good thing that attempts to come its way.

"RC Colas and Moon Pies. We aint too bright, but we have a good time."

Beautiful line from Keith Carradine in Southern Comfort. It should be adopted as the State motto.

I’m from this general area. Outside of Lafayette and the immediate towns nearby, Acadiana is a dying area. Spacex was a giant unexpected shot in the arm.

If the story is true and you are right about the shot in the arm then why would piticians us a code name for the meeting and not have the paperwork from the Exxon deal?

You'd think they would want as much publicity for such a deal as is possible?
