Good idea. Never want to get up too quickly when you aren't wearing pants in the office.

And he loved to engage in a crass quiz game with men and women in the office: “f—, marry, or kill,” in which he would identify the female co-hosts that he’d most like to sleep with.

I've played this game with multiple female coworkers

The Saban button ? That’s when you know you’ve gone all in on the maniacal egomaniac scale.

This sounds like something a Bond villain would have installed in his office

Maybe I'm unclear.

Are they saying he could lock the door such that another person couldn't get out?

Or, are they simply saying he could lock his door from his desk?

Former? Kinda creepy

Latter? Convenience

They're saying he had one in the hopes that the readers fill in the blanks for themselves and make themselves believe it's for nefarious purposes. I bet there are plenty of people at NBC that have that same setup.

If you were banking 20 mil a year you would have to find stupid shite to waste your money on, too.

I'd have a midget on a tricycle doing laps around my office.

Yeah.

Honestly. I'm guessing the ability to lock one's door from one's desk isn't even terribly unusual.

Now, like I said, if it locked you IN...........THAT is a story.

"He can lock his door from his desk" is just silly.

I wonder if he also had a button that dropped a Murphy bed from the wall.

This story is a great example of how a reporter can WILLFULLY use a few key words to let the reader infer something that isn't actually said.

In this case the key words/phrases were

"secret button" - WTF? Most buttons for basically anything would be UNDER the desk. For self explanatory reasons for anyone not retarded.

"from the inside" - LOL. Well yeah. He would be inside when he locked it. But phrased that way, it lets you THINK they mean "locks someone in".

How does one go about installing this? Is there a sexual assault contractor that specializes in these things?
