Latoya is not being recalled. Why are you wasting time with this? There is nothing known now that wasn’t known when she was easily reelected.

That keeps getting posted but the election and the recall are much different.

She had no real opponent in the election and only 25k people showed up. More people have signed the recall than showed up to vote.

People are very unhappy with her, I’m surprised the recall has done as well as it has actually.

No matter how many signatures you get on the recall petition it doesn't matter. They will throw out enough signatures to make it fail.

It’s the state, not the city, certifying. She does not play nice in Baton Rouge.

And who is in charge in Baton Rouge.

Louisiana is a shithole.

Democrats don't turn on democrats.

They are like the Nazis in 30's Germany. A minority but disciplined

always interesting how people chime in so confidently in these threads despite clearly not having a clue as to what they are talking about

This article states the deadline is Feb. 21st. We need a big push now on people signing. If there are enough verified signatures, we still have to worry about if the “Democrat” Gov. Edwards will not find a reason to not sign so it can go to a vote.

Exactly. She won re-election with only 25% of the registered voters voting.

They better get 3,000 more to cover the ones that get tossed during signature verification.

They verify signatures for recalls, just not elections.

The fact that the petition appears to be struggling, even after all of the damning news and stories that came out, tells you all you need to know about the direction New Orleans is headed.

So is this a hint that our recent liberal transplants from Oregon next door, who the first thing they put on their porch was a "Black Lives Matter" sign, even if the recall gets the required signatures, that they and others like them will not bother to show up and vote her out?

Or the other transplant from Oregon, we met on the job who would like to see the demise of the Electoral College, might do the same.

Because as goes world vision, they are examples of what we've been getting here the most, at least for the past five years.
