You know right now she is cursing the hell out of Lee Zürich. She’s probably trying to figure out if she can hire a hitman to take him out and not get caught.

It’s really hard in today’s world being a black female mayor! People coming at you from all sides. Feds planting emails and framing you for crimes. She’s definitely being persecuted!

I don’t think they built the case against him for nearly as long as they’ve been investigating Latoya.
There is almost always plausible deniability with tax fraud.

It's really just kinda pathetic ... some $50k or so of fraud? And much of that in free travel instead of cash? Nagin and "Dollar Bill" Jefferson would just laugh at her tiny haul. Either she's massively stolen from the people of New Orleans in other ways that the feds can't yet prove, or she as an incompetent a fraudster as she is a mayor.
