Trump’s envoys told Ukrainian officials the Russian diesel deal could help “soften” Moscow and revive peace talks, Reuters reports.
Incredible.

Witkoff and Kushner again asked Kyiv to halt strikes on Russian refineries.
Also incredible.

Ukraine made no formal commitment but signaled openness to a reciprocal energy ceasefire.
Sanity prevails.

Trump sees the need to attack Iran and stop their missile development and nuclear program Cold. I was fine with that.
I can see folks suffering the consequences of higher fuel prices until Iran is toast to insure our safety.
But to jump up and blame Ukraine to gain cover and also help Putin is flat wrong.

I think actually Putin wants to make a deal more than Zelensky.
Seriously, is this Dementia, or corruption, or blackmail, or straight up idiocy?
Does it matter?

Whatever it is, it seems to be getting worse.

I asked that yesterday. Something is way off

I'm beginning to wonder if Trump is beginning to panic over diesel prices or, is dementia starting to manifest itself
Why would you post something like this you know is untrue?
Ukraine absolutely should ignore this nonsense and carry on.

I’m 75 years old. I’m not as sharp as I once was. We have too many old folks running things in the White House, and in Congress.

A little bit of #2, and a whole lot of #4.

What specifically is the issue with this statement?

I don't disagree with Trump in some ways but the issue is that it's half the story.
I do believe Z is holding up peace on some points, but Russia hasn't done anything in good faith to show they are open to it either. Though I will grant that you can argue that they have no incentive to agree to anything like even a temporary ceasefire.
