Ukraine Struck 27.5% of russian Vessels in the Sea of Azov in 96 Hours — How Many Vessels Remain, What's Even More Important?

Using SAR satellite imagery from July 7, we determined that there were 120 vessels of various types in the Sea of Azov as of the date the imagery was captured. In other words, based on this rough estimate, Ukraine struck approximately 27.5% of the vessels believed to have been in the Sea of Azov during that 96-hour period.

The image quality is insufficient to identify the type of each of the 120 vessels. However, most of them are bulk carriers, while tankers make up a significant share but remain less numerous.

However, the total number of vessels in the Sea of Azov, as well as the percentage that have been struck, is not what matters most. The current campaign represents an expansion of Ukraine's medium-range strike campaign from the temporarily occupied territories into the Sea of Azov—an important logistical corridor and an alternative supply route to temporarily occupied Crimea.

Therefore, just as in the temporarily occupied territories, strikes against russian ships must be systematic and sustained in order to be effective. However, the number of russian ships—particularly tankers—is far smaller than the number of trucks and fuel tankers, and with no cover at sea, disrupting maritime traffic is likely to be even easier than disrupting transport on land.

In addition, SAR satellite imagery shows bright reflections around the Crimean Bridge. These are caused by russian electronic warfare systems protecting the bridge and the Kerch area from Ukrainian attacks.

Any actual evidence of Trump being actually implicated in them isn't real.

You're just throwing out accusations because Trump wasn't doing what you wanted him to do. You have 0 substantive evidence of it.

"But Trump didn't want to release the latest batch" and he was right not to want to based on the reactions from idiots who can't tell the difference between something that actually happened and people the FBI says aren't credible making false allegations.

Trump's promise on Patriots will take time, leaving Ukraine facing tough choices

quote:

KYIV, July 10 (Reuters) - A pledge by President Donald Trump to allow Kyiv to produce U.S. Patriot air defence missiles is a victory for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy but it could take at least a year to start producing them, defence experts ?say.

With its chronic shortage of interceptor missiles likely to continue until then, Kyiv faces tough choices over which targets are a priority to defend as Russia keeps pounding its cities and energy infrastructure.

quote:

Patriot interceptor missiles are vital for Ukraine's defence at a time when Zelenskiy says Russia, whose battlefield advances have stalled, is trying to leverage its advantage in ballistic missiles by hitting Ukraine hard.

The Patriot is the only weapon in Kyiv's arsenal capable of stopping Russian ballistic missiles. Ukraine has brought down only four of the 54 much-faster ballistic missiles launched by ?Russia this month.

quote:

Ukraine has managed to fast-track military development in the war since Russia's 2022 invasion, but defence experts say building a system to down missiles travelling at several times the speed of sound is the toughest challenge in missile technology.

Serhii Beskrestnov, an advisor to Ukraine's defense ministry, said on Telegram there was uncertainty over how long ?it would take subcontractors to scale production of scarce components.

One country that might be able to help Kyiv accelerate the process is Germany, which has developed a domestic production chain for PAC-2 interceptors.
Two sources familiar with the discussions said the ?new interceptors were likely to be manufactured in Germany or another European country, where it is safer, and production could be shifted to Ukraine when the war ends.

quote:

Working on the principle that three Patriots are needed per ballistic missile to ensure an interception, they estimate some 2,400 interceptors would be needed per year if Russia's output remains stable.

"Even with a licensed production facility in ?Ukraine, reaching that number will be very, very difficult, if ?not impossible," Hoffmann said.

Lockheed delivered just over 600 PAC-3s ?last year and is aiming to scale its production to around 2,000 by 2030. A Ukrainian plant might produce 200 to 300 interceptors a year, Hoffmann said.

“Harry Potter” appears in print 134 times in the seven J.K. Rowling books entitled "Harry Potter". In the over 3 million pages of the Epstein files recently released, Donald Trump is mentioned over 1800 times.

If Trump is innocent, why is he fighting so hard to keep the files hidden?

I will refrain posting the collection of photographs of Trump and under aged girls as this is not appropriate for this thread and it upsets most if not all of us. But if you want to keep your head in the Fox News sand, don't post ridiculous statements like the above.

From the beginning, I told people that the Epstein files had info that was embarrassing to Trump, but not incriminating, and that has borne out. It has always been truly insane to think that the Biden administration had some kind of proof of a Trump sex crime, and they simply sat on it and didn't want to prosecute him. People really have to be brain dead to believe that.

It's also not really relevant to the war in Ukraine. Can we get back on track?

It's highly likely that within a year Uraine will field their own ballistic missile (FP-9) capable of striking the Iskander manufacturing and supply chain.

Cope has thrown around those accusations against the US president dozens of times. He has made it relevant to this thread by his insistence on doing so.

I don't care if I have my pain points with Trump, I won't sit here and listen to some low IQ, morally bankrupt euroslop foreigner throw baseless accusations around against a sitting president when we've given Ukraine billions in aid and not push back on it. I would do the same for Biden or Obama or anyone else. Show some damn proof or STFU.

Most of the PTbosrd had evolved into one big cover up fest, one after another.

You are going to wear yourself out responding to outlandish claims.

Think they are already banned or they would still be posting. Usually the formula is to spam as much as they can before they inevitably get the boot.

Uh huh, uh huh

So anyway, since it's clear that there is something in those files that makes Trump look bad, and there's clearly a master/slave relationship between Putin and Trump, I'll admit that it is at least slightly relevant.

But it would be nice if ya'll stopped bringing it up, especially since the high douce John Barron and his douchi-ness is back and he's about to bring the pain with him.

Bend over, Barron, and smile like you mean it. The Russians are, after all.
