You were whiteknighting for the Aggie. I thought you knew the answer. If you don’t then you should quit calling him a liar.

Not at all, actually. You will never account for your own posts, you just deflect to something else.

Its more based on his body of work than this specific post

sucker Mississippi out of $200 million or so.
The State of Mississippi put a few million into site prep for them. Nothing like $200 million.
Some very well respected VC guys were on the board and put up most of the money. But I believe the total was way closer to $100 million than $200 million.

So you just happened to appear to white knight for the Aggie, reality was you just wanted to call him a liar.

Then link me where I have white knighted for him? Show me. I would love to see it.

My body of work here is factual. Just because you have zero clue about the things I have, maybe you might actually learn something outside your cubicle or whatever it is
I will be at a closed plant which made EPDM tomorrow afternoon. It probably won't take long other than a dozen or so items everything is outdated or scrap.

Ukraine loves their Bradley's and we have thousands of them. The Bradley's latest update is being manufactured with lots of earlier versions being retired.

Wrong. Mississippi gave tax abatement and incentives totally over $200 million and sued KiOR for it. Kosla Ventures was behind it with the best computer simulations Silicon Valley could provide. What was discovered as the pilot plant in Houston full of Albermarle and MIT PhD Chem E's had cooked the books on results. The plant was losing $1 million per day in loss of catalyst due poor design by KBR of its altered UltraOrthoflow FCC design as the fluid bed reactor to convert pine trees ground to a flour. Everything the production touch smelled like PineSol. MS Sec of State Mike Watson is still pissed at Barbour for greenlighting the deal, he told me personally
It never made any saleable product. What was sold was diesel from a refinery and claimed to be renewable. Not a drop of the production ever touched the hydrogenation deoxygenation unit. REG bought this unit with the intent of installing in their Geismar plant REG hired Mammoet to removed the unit in modules and ship via barge. It was stored where the newest Methanex plant was built, then moved to another laydown yard. The only winner was Mammoet which made a killing on rental its equipment. It ended up being scrapped a few years ago. The hydrogen compressors are still sitting in Baton Rouge.due a German brand similar to Dresser Rand HHE model but no maintenance and parts support in the USA. No one wants them.
I bought a number of stainless steel tanks and which were cut down and shipped to a customer who makes herbicides and pesticides.
Have you ever been in the plant?

FTR, big money often gambles in new processes. I worked with Dow to liquidate the equipment from its Intarsia subsidiary. This was to make new screens for smart phones and the site purchased in 1999. The biz model was to profit on sale of high dollar chemicals made in Midland, MI. Losing $50 million wasn't by not hitting the market at the right time wasn't a big deal compared to profit it would have made for them. A major problem was that I couldn't sell the equipment to a university in AZ due Dow was behind UT Arlington to get a contract for DoD to develop making flexible visor/screens for pilots. AZ got the contract.
I moved to Baton Rouge for dismantlement of its Carillon polymer plant, a polyketone discovered in the 1950's but a chance unintended catalyst breakthrough made it commercially viable. The board of Shell Chemical opted to scrap the project but still complete the plant halfway through. I saw the accounting, $110 million to build the plant, a total of $890 million invested in R&D, pilot plant in England and then the plant in Geismar.

Lots of people raising hell about this. People are protesting against it. It seems to be a power grab. It grants power over anti corruption to the Special Prosecutor of the government. Loss of independence in oversight.
They are claiming that members of the anti corruption agency were Russian spies or had ties to an opposition party who has Russian ties.
Russsia! Russia! Russia!
I also heard that they charged some of the people with trumped up charges/violations that included something about traffic violations or accidents in the past. Some totally weird stuff.
Heard one Ukrainian MP say today that about 10 billion per year was being stolen with corruption.

Liberals would be raising hell if Trump did that.

You know it must be bad if the totally corrupt EU is raising hell about it.
I wonder if we will ever know how much has been stolen there. It has to be billions.
Let's see Cope spin this for his favorite world leader.
I also saw where Z's new hand chosen PM is coming to the IMF and the US to secure loans for the next 2 years. They are saying they need 75 billion for the next 2 years.
The new PM just happens to have been Ukraine's lead negotiator in the minerals deal.
That region of the world is pure mafia.

Zeelenskyy signed a bill that parliament passed by a vote of 263 to 13.

I spoke with NABU Director Semen Kryvonos, SAPO Prosecutor Oleksandr Klymenko, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, and Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk. We discussed various challenges.
The anti-corruption infrastructure will work. Only without Russian influence, it needs to be cleared of that. And there should be more justice.
Of course, NABU and SAPO will work. And it is important that the Prosecutor General is determined to ensure that in Ukraine the inevitability of punishment for those who go against the law is actually ensured. This is what Ukraine really needs.
The cases that have been lying dormant must be investigated. For years, officials who have fled Ukraine have been casually living abroad for some reason – in very nice countries and without legal consequences – and this is not normal. There is no rational explanation for why criminal proceedings worth billions have been “hanging” for years.
And there is no explanation why the Russians can still get the information they need. Important is – without Russians. Important is to have an inevitability of punishment and that society really sees it.
