I can’t fathom Belarus straddling the sideline of this conflict for this long, seeing Ukraine’s newfound long range bombing capabilities, and deciding now is the time to join the fray.
If they do that's been the plan all along IMO, orchestrated by Putin keeping a tight leash on his dog in Belarus. Stand on the sidelines and if things start swinging against Russia open up a brand new front and see if and how Ukraine is able to respond.

Russia's high-security economic zone: how Alabuga, the country's main drone factory, operates
Harbuz (Dnipro OSINT)
26 May, 16:24
Alabuga has become one of the main sources of tragedy and sleepless nights for Ukrainians living in cities.
This sprawling industrial facility, located about 1,200 km from the front line, attracts tens of thousands of people from around the world under the guise of education and training programmes. In reality, they work around the clock producing Russia's main weapon of terror – Geran strike drones, better known in Ukraine as Shahed drones.
According to Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), Russia plans to manufacture 60,000 long-range drones and 50,000 decoy drones this year.
To achieve this, Russian authorities have built an entire town, launched an unprecedented spam advertising campaign and turned the project into what critics describe as a labour camp with total surveillance and ideological indoctrination of young people.
Ukrainska Pravda analysed Alabuga group chats, satellite images, public records and even spoke to a student at Alabuga Polytech, which serves as a key supplier of personnel for drone production. This article explains how the largest strike drone production facility in Europe operates from the inside.

Rusdia gonna use Belarus to get st the Ukrainian rear? Something to watch.
Russia's puppet in Belarus doesn't seem to be holding a strong hand. Going to war might trigger the end of his reign.
Also, unseasoned troops facing men who have been fighting for the last 4+ years would likely be in for a major shock.

Guys, Russia isn't going to open up a second front. We've been discussing this for three years now and things have only gotten worse for them since. Doing so would not only double their problems, it might even be worse depending on who they chose to invade.
Secondly, any involvement the US governments had in the Ukraine was never a pretense for an invasion - Russia's clearly was. So, while I tend to take the position that we need to stay the hell out of other's business we tried to warn the Ukrainians about the Russian invasion right up until they actually invaded.

According to reports, the Russian side has just delivered a new proposal to Ukraine through intermediaries — and this time the terms are said to be far harsher for Moscow itself. Sources claim there is real panic inside the Kremlin right now. Some security officials are allegedly shouting: “If we don’t stop now, the entire system will collapse.” The reported proposal supposedly includes: • A full withdrawal of all Russian forces from Ukrainian territory, including Crimea and Donbas, within clearly defined timeframes. • Freezing the frontline at the moment of signing, followed by further negotiations. • Economic and energy concessions in favor of Ukraine. • A complete halt to all missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian territory. These are no longer the demands Russia used to make earlier in the war. If true, this would amount to a de facto admission of defeat wrapped in the language of a “final attempt to save face.” Some figures inside the Russian security establishment are reportedly warning that continuing the war could lead to the collapse of the regime itself. Others are demanding a rapid agreement in order to salvage at least part of the situation. A Kremlin that once spoke endlessly about the “goals of the special military operation” is now, according to these claims, ready to give up almost everything.
Holy moly and great balls of fire. There is bad propaganda, bullshite propaganda, 50 feet of, the A’s chances of winning the World Series this year, and the very bottom of it is that. I don’t know if I should insult the author or give her a round of applause for a truly epic piece of fiction. Anyway I thought yall might need a chuckle to start the afternoon.

So another Russian four year plan? I don’t think so.

There were 27 biological warfare labs shutdown when Ukraine left the USSR

The first problem is "Russia's Investigative Committee." Only their own spam farm pretends to believe anything they put out.

At first you wonder what unguided rockets will do on a long range drone. What are they supposed to hit? You would need a huge, unmissable target. Then you remember all those videos of attacks on refineries.

Speaking of refineries...
quote:
The Tuapse refinery, Krasnodar region, in Russia was struck last night again, for the 5th time in 2026. Locals report of several explosions coming from the sea terminal area.
Ukrainian drone forces released impressive videos showing successful strikes against the oil loading piers in Tuapse, Krasnodar region, in Russia. In one case you can even see two drones impacting virtually at the same moment. There are no less than 3 fires raging. The damage appears to be extensive.
Equipment of that kind is hard to produce and Russia primarily has to obtain those spare parts from abroad.

Lukashenko's military is for crowd control to stop protests. It's about 20,000 strong if memory serves me correctly. Belarus is attacking no one.
