Ukrainian weapons tech is very popular throughout the West and is making them lots of friends.

And it seems like there is a new Ukrainian weapon system rolled out every week.

Critically, these systems are not all offensive. Which is what interests the Western allies even more.

Not exactly the 'A' List...
But they will always make it worse...
No problem, Kyiv will supply them with a live drone feed straight from the Red Square viewing platform....

The Kremlin revoked previously issued accreditation for foreign journalists covering the Victory Parade, Der Spiegel reports. Outlets denied access include Der Spiegel, ARD, ZDF, Sky, Rai, NHK and AFP, with only Russian media now allowed to cover the event.

The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed that on 7 May 2026, a Russian Navy Caspian Flotilla Project 22800 Karakurt-class missile corvette was struck while underway in the Caspian Sea.
The released terminal guidance imagery (image 1) shows the targeting reticle locked on the vessel while it was making way, confirming a hit on a long-distance dynamic target.
In April, a long-range drone strike on the stationary Yuri Korchagin drilling platform in the Caspian Sea (image 2) confirmed two things: long-range terminal guidance is operational at Caspian distances, and real-time surveillance footage can be relayed back to operators.
That strike did not require human-in-the-loop control.
Note that the targeting reticles are the same for both strikes.
On May 3, we posted an analysis speculating that Ukraine had developed FPV or other human-in-the-loop terminal control on its long-range strike weapons after a Karakurt corvette was struck while underway in the Gulf of Finland near Primorsk.

A moving warship cannot be tracked and hit at that range without a human or optical | IR| radar sensor-fed AI actively steering the final approach.
Two Karakurt corvettes, both underway, both struck. Today's General Staff release confirms that analysis.

What is interesting is that there is a lot of talk, among Iranians, about Ukrainian spec ops organizing resistance in Iran, just like they did in Syria and the Sahel in Africa against Russia. The Small Wars Strategy which Reagan used by assisting rebel groups across the world against Russia in the 1980's It was a lot more than Afghanistan.

In recent days, there have been many appeals and signals regarding the setup for tomorrow in Moscow in connection with our Ukrainian long-range sanctions. The principle of symmetry in our actions is well known and has been clearly communicated to the Russian side. An additional argument for Ukraine in determining our position has always been the resolution of one of the key humanitarian issues of this war – namely, the release of prisoners of war. Red Square is less important to us than the lives of Ukrainian prisoners who can be brought home.
That is why today, within the framework of the negotiating process mediated by the American side, we received Russia’s agreement to conduct a prisoner exchange in the format of 1,000 for 1,000. A ceasefire regime must also be established on May 9, 10, and 11. Ukraine is consistently working to bring its people home from Russian captivity. I have instructed our team to promptly prepare everything necessary for the exchange.
I thank the President of the United States and his team for their productive diplomatic involvement. We expect the United States to ensure that the Russian side fulfills these agreements.
Glory to Ukraine!
