As I was told in 2022, plenty of retired pilots would be willing to fly in Ukraine even if only their expenses were paid. Reaching an age that the USAF deems them to old is a big deal for many. A biz friend's son transitioned from the USAF to LA National Guard so he could still get into a cockpit of an F15E. When he became a colonel he was put in a desk job. He was offered a brig general position and would still be able to fly if in the guard.
A retired A-10 squadron leader had also told me that plenty of retirees would be willing to fly then but that these were not the right fit for Ukraine and that drone swarms would be far more economical.

I’m sorry, I misunderstood. Bringing information to a message board isn’t reporting. If you say so fifth grade teacher.

You should set this phrase up as a hotkey

Correct

Is that the highest level you completed?

You’re so full of shite.

I actually believe it. I don't think they are sincere, but I know some of those types and they love to make themselves sound badass (because they were at one time extremely badass).
I was friends with a special forces guy who went to Vietnam and he was constantly saying stuff like that about whatever conflict was happening at the time. He could barely finish a round of golf while riding a cart. He did do some wild stuff in his prime though.

Once you make colonel in USAF its almost always a desk job.
Someone in their 40's can retire you 100% know nothing.
Why don't you go down to Grainger and pickup two barrel compressors with gas turbine drivers for a pipeline project I am working with? There were two available but sold. 4 more were available but two of those have a deposit on them. The two remaining are smaller and not sure they will large enough.

Are those the last components you need to complete your top secret technology?

Common sense is a melt?
Posting a tweet to TD is a low bar for "reporting".....

Not a typo, that's 1600km. Was it hit by a Ukrainian missile or did it catch fire by other means?

An explosion occurred in a military commandant’s building in Vsevolozhsky district of Leningrad region, Russian media report. Four servicemen were initially said to be trapped under rubble. Later reports say three Russian servicemen have died after the second and third floors collapsed.

Russian media report that two floors of a military commandant's office in the Leningrad region have collapsed following an unknown explosion. Preliminary data suggests the incident occurred at the 56th Training Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense in Sertolovo. This facility trains specialists for tank and motorized rifle units, as well as signalmen, scouts, drone operators, and electronic warfare units. At least three deaths have been confirmed, and four more Russians may still be trapped under the rubble.
Edited again to add -
quote:
According to VChK-OGPU and Rucriminal.info, the explosion at the commandant's office in Sertolovo, Leningrad Oblast, occurred on the floor occupied by officers of the FSB's Military Counterintelligence Department. The epicenter of the explosion was on the third floor of the building, which six months ago had been converted into a military counterintelligence department and occupied by officers of that unit.
The second floor houses the Military Field Bank.
The explosion killed three people, and several were injured.
Our source immediately recalled a story about how officers from the FSB's Military Counterintelligence Department brought a drone they had discovered into the building, which then exploded.
