There have been several. JB was just the last. The first was Ruffish. He came around right when Ukraine made the Gun Run in the Kharkiv Offensive then disappeared after the Kherson Offensive.

He posted non stop during Rivalry Saturday before Thanksgiving. Like all the big games were on all day. People are traveling, shopping, cooking, watching football, hunting, etc. And he had like 120 posts that day. And claims to be an American. He just flew too close to the Basilica....the glare from tbe golden domes got him

Well if we play what if with the latter and both are paid, Coeur is in a position where most of the regulars here agree with him so he can get away with less volume to keep the account in tact and the grift going. But JB's tactic of extremely high volume from the get go doesn't work either because it's too obvious. Also Russian content is just shite. I don't even like Ukraine but "actually Russians are the good guys" posts are just absurd.

I think you hit on the biggest difference in the two. Beyond the shotgun spamming of the thread by JB, so much of what he posts is obvious propaganda from Russian propaganda sources (inclusive of the Russia is the good guy BS) vs. Coeur's posts at times are from Ukrainian sources, but he also posts from mainstream sources. Coeur will also actually discuss his posts vs. JB's attack responses.

That said, I agree that confirmation bias influences my opinion of Coeur's posts. I have been pretty clear that I would like to see Ukraine survive the war; however, this doesn't have anything to do with Ukraine. You could substitute any country for Ukraine, and I'd still want to see them bloody Russia's nose.

And in case someone thinks I'm a fan of Coeur, I'm not; I'm diametrically opposed to his opinions on President Trump's treatment of this war (and President Trump in general).

I liked Ruff. He was openly Russian and was willing to talk. For a short time, he gave a decent view into the Russian side of things.

There have been a few others, but the only one I can remember was Lima Whiskey. I enjoyed him as well. He would carry on a conversation.

There have been hundreds of low-engagement "drive-by" posters like All Hat No Cattle. They offer nothing to the thread; they just drive by and offer an insult or make a wild statement but can't (won't) back it up. They are worthless.

ETA: I used to think Vol was part of the drive-by gang; however, Vol's posting has improved dramatically, and I no longer feel that way about him.

I have no problem with anybody who writes and debates intelligently. regardless of whether I agree with them or not. You don't learn anything if you don't listen to every side of anything.

There's very few of those people on this entire site, especially outside of this thread... but most people come to this site to vent their spleens in an echo chamber where everybody validates it. It is a sports site, after all.

Most of the drive-bys are people who are active in other boards here who are just extremely bothered that this thread even exists because they completely oppose Ukraine for whatever reasons... "Ukraine supporter" is used as an insult.

Lima (I think I'm thinking of the right poster... it's been a while) wasn't a troll... he was a guy with his opinions and his ideology. I don't recall him ever insulting anybody here, even when they insulted him.

Sir WInston is not a troll... just a bit... goofy.

Significant breakthrough southwest of Siversk being reported by Rybar. ISW has not updated but in their map yesterday they acknowledged a Russian advance in the direction. This is east of the fortress belt in Donetsk.

Interesting thread on Ukraine's drone strategy vs Russia's. Tracks with my thought that Ukraine has focused too much on generating headlines vs getting the most operational bang for your buck at times.

That's genuinely interesting. I can see his point, although if there is one area the Ukrainians have just absolutely decimated the Russians it's been their logistics - again, the Russian logistics have been a joke for over three years now.

I think Ukraine took a very shortsighted mentality in terms of just being able to survive, but if Ukraine is genuinely interested in a successful counterattack, then O'Leary may have shown them the way.

That speaks to your low IQ, low information position. I have hard time believing some of the Zelensky simps on here, but then I see that shite like Kinzinger, and Vindman twins(none of who are really American as far as I'm concerned and should be stripped of citizenship) and Lady G and Lizzo Cheney to name a few. Thing is, they profit from this war and the Ukrainian grift, you're just playing the part of a useful idiot.

You're shitposting at the same time as I'm posting. So either you don't work or you're on some scammy disability/welfare. I have oodles of passive income, but I have a business that I run and I can do so at my leisure. It's a novel concept to a simpleton like you, but wealthiest people have a lot of free time. Then again I choose to be very busy when I feel like it because I can't just sit and do nothing. I choose to post when I post and as much as I feel to post largely because I detest the circle jerk in this clown of a thread. And I have little to no respect for the loudmouth little choir that copes here, begging to be isolated and in their little cope bubble.

Ukrainian MP Goncharenko now says he's concerned that "not revealing the truth" Ukros have been hiding for 4 years is detrimental.

Talks about kidnappings of Ukrainian men and the shithole dictatorship Ukraine turned into. So I guess the truth is Ukraine isn't really a "democracy" nor has "core Western values". Gee golly, color me shocked.

Isn't Ukraine covered in snow right now? Every video I'm seeing on Twitter has snow-covered ground.

Where and when did this happen?

I doubt Ukrainians recovered the footage and posted it. More than likely a recently recovered by Russians after taking the territory, so it could be several months old easily. Odds are, nobody even heard about this loss because Ukraine is in "cope" state and doesn't report their losses if it can hide it.

This might the first go-pro style footage of a fighter jet being destroyed by A2A and a pilot fatality.

Had to pause it frame by frame to catch the detonation.

Looks like Russia is going to lose some more oil tankers. How embarrasing that the mighty Russia can't put a navy to sea that can prevent it. After Europe saw Trump drag his nuts across putin's face and take his oil tanker in front of Putin's navy...I guess Europe wants to get in on the act.
