Russia is cut off via the Baltic. This is a major development

I think he has an opinion and posts about it. That's not an "agenda".

For who?

seek to engage in banter with pro Ukraine posters. You repeatedly do that.
Why?

Because I'm interested in the war and where my tax payer dollars go? And potentially where my friends and relatives might have to go serve if Zelensky has his way?

Which makes them 10% more accurate than yours.

If you were interested in the war you wouldn’t nit pick pro Ukrainian posters ad nauseum every day. You bring rrr Ed ports, facts, insights of your own.

And you’d be interested in what Putin is doing because your friends and relatives might hzve to serve if he had his way in areas around the globe. In reality the fact that you think Zelensky is the danger and not Putin is surprising to me.

Good thing I don't. Debating people isn't nit picking. Maybe you should just be more accurate with your posts?

I don't think that but nice try anyway

Ukraine never should have invaded Russia. The Russians said so.

Interesting.
For the record, you can obviously be pro-Russia and provide objective information. There are accusations, however, that it's a tool of Russian intelligence, but I can't tell for sure what their deal is:

Who is Rybar?

"Also, unlike similar Telegram channels, Rybar is a direct player in the war. Since the start of Russia’s invasion, it has published information on the positions of Ukrainian military forces and has boasted that the Russian army uses its data for missile strikes."

"After the Russian invasion, Rybar began to grow fast and started landing big advertising contracts. Quickly, the intelligence services took an interest. A source told The Bell that the channel’s creators, possibly helped by Prigozhin, held talks with representatives of the Federal Security Service (FSB). After that, the channel is expected to publish anything that the FSB wishes to make public. The Bell was unable to verify this claim."

I can't tell if the Russian military using your own information is a compliment to how good you are or how bad Russian military intelligence is.....

No Rusdian breakthrough? Surprise, surprise.

quote:

Key Takeaways
Russian President Vladimir Putin continues to demonstrate that he will not be satisfied with a peace settlement that only pertains to Ukraine and does not radically restructure NATO.
The Kremlin continues to forward the false narrative that Ukraine’s defenses are on the verge of collapse, but data on Russian gains since the start of the full-scale invasion demonstrate otherwise.
Russian General Staff Army General Valery Gerasimov continues to offer demonstrable lies and exaggerations about Russian battlefield gains to forward the Kremlin’s false narrative that a Russian military victory is inevitable.
The Russian military command remains committed to its false claims that Russian forces have seized Kupyansk, despite ample visual evidence and Ukrainian and Russian reporting to the contrary.
Gerasimov’s January 15 claims are part of a demonstrated Kremlin pattern of publicly presenting false information about the battlefield. These Kremlin efforts aim to spread the false narrative that a Russian victory in Ukraine is inevitable and to convince Ukraine and the West that Ukraine should accept Russia’s demands now out of fear of future Russian offensives.
Ukrainian forces recently advanced near Kupyansk, Slovyansk, and in the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkivka tactical area. Russian forces recently advanced near Pokrovsk.

I'm not saying there isn't a breakthrough (although after decades of being in the infantry if one of my subordinate officers came to me and told me he had 'broken through' and had only taken a few blocks after days of fighting, I'd immediately fire him and find someone who knew what they were talking about.)

This map is somewhat detailed and does not overexaggerate too much, unlike mainstream Russian propaganda - it can't be too off. They've no doubt taken some land, I just don't agree with the word 'breakthrough.'

Russian forces are continuing their cognitive warfare campaign that uses small-scale cross-border attacks in previously dormant frontline areas in northern Ukraine to try to convince the West that the frontlines in Ukraine are collapsing.

Russian forces have still not set conditions for a major ground offensive in northern Sumy or Kharkiv oblasts, however, and ISW continues to assess that these cross-border attacks are not part of a major Russian offensive.

Will the above stop the daily "looks like the Ukrainians are collapsing/Russia is making gains" interpretations?

Of course not...

I don’t see how anyone that has followers this war can NOT root for Ukrainian as the underdog that was attacked. I hope the Russians that have committed these crimes burn in hell. I have a simple outlook on this.

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov:

At the beginning of the invasion, there were seven companies in Ukraine making drones. Today, there are 500.

As for electronic warfare, there were two companies. Today, there are 200.

There were no private companies producing missiles at all. Today, there are more than 20.

There were zero companies making ground robots. Now, there are over 100.

We began systematically searching for asymmetric solutions where conventional warfare was too expensive or impossible for us. FPV drones instead of anti-tank guided missiles to destroy armored vehicles, quadcopter drones instead of scarce munitions and artillery, Ukrainian Lancets instead of HIMARS, interceptors as part of the air defense system.

Lasar's Group, which we supported from scratch, has destroyed enemy equipment worth $15 billion.

Or our joint project with the SSU's Alpha Group, thanks to which over 300 enemy air defense units were destroyed in 2025 alone.

Or the drone line, which destroys every fourth target on the front.

However, today it is impossible to fight with new technologies using an old organizational structure. Comprehensive changes are necessary.

But Russia is poised to "demilitirize" Ukraine. Isn't that what Putin said? Because Ukraine had a badsss military 5 years ago. Was threatening Russia's flank.

This invasion will pull its teeth for sure.

Demilitirzation incoming any day now.

Germany and Austria are now receiving natural gas via pipeline from Azerbaijan. Fat Boy Orban could have had a pipeline built to the same TAPS system when he returned to office but refused.
