I don't think that Putin will find this "peace deal" acceptable either. He has to give up money and he is broke

He's not giving up anything - the Europeans have his money and have started spending it by the tens of billions. Even if that wasn't the case that $100B or so would be the sweetheart deal of the century.

Every single modern event being compared to something related to WW2 because hardly anyone knows any history other than that is exhausting sometimes

He has to give up more if you read the actual points. A big chunk of sales as sanctions are eased. It distributes the funds in Belgium but not to Russia. It stops Ukraine from firing missiles only at St. Petersburg and Moscow. That means it can fire away at Putin's two retreats.
While the Russian apologists hollers NATO NATO NATO. it is Ukraine joining the EU which as what Russia objected to, mainly because the apologists are dullards

Why would Russia demand that Ukrsine cut its military back to just 600K troops if they didn’t want to continue the war at a later date?
The plan is obviously a Russian proposal, but this provision of it isn't really a dealbreaker. When the war is over, Ukraine will want a large national guard/reserve force that wouldn't count as part of the 600k. The 600k number is perfectly adequate for a peacetime active duty force, since there wouldn't be a limit on reserves.

There is absolutely zero chance that Putin is interested in this current proposal. The entire reason to propose it was to try to drive a wedge between Trump and Ukraine/Europe.

Russia gives up absolutely nothing in this farce of a treaty.
Ukraine gives up land that Russia doesn't have control over.
Ukraine's military is halved while Russia's is left untouched.
Russia is 'expected' not to invade - *snort*
THIS TREATY GIVES RUSSIA VETO POWER OVER NATO MEMBERSHIP WHILE NO OTHER NATO COUNTRY HAS BEEN CONSULTED ON THIS THING AND AREN'T SIGNATORIES TO THE TREATY
Russia gives up money the Europeans have control over and sure as hell aren't giving back, nor should they.
The US (or certain people in the US) is essentially getting a bribe from this whole thing - Thanks Donald!!
Russia is 'invited' back to the G7 - again, NOBODY ELSE IN THE G7 HAS AGREED TO THAT. It's also supposed to be for actual democracies, BTW.
If you think for one second, the Ukraine is going to fire missiles at a non-military target just so the those bastards can use it as another reason to invade you're not paying attention. That would be the last thing a sane person would do in that situation.
This isn't a joke. It's a travesty of a farce of a joke. It's more proof that our damned president is nothing but a stooge for another country.

Uh huh.
So, when the Ukrainians do exactly that and build, say, another 400k to bring their total to 1M, do you think that the Russians are going to go "Oh, that's ok, we don't mind" or do you think they are going to accuse the Ukrainians of breaking the treaty and use it as another pretense for war?
My vote's on the latter.

I mean, you're not wrong but there are a number of similarities, and the breaks between the historical periods are due largely to our knowledge of the previous period and trying to avoid mistakes.

You really are much better at obfuscating any actual ideas you may possibly have than actually thinking. Because you aren't very good at that.
Trump is going to get slaughtered in the mid terms. At this point I'm fine with that.

This was Trump yesterday. Ukraine had a Thanksgiving deadline to accept it or lose support. Today, it was always only a Russian plan and was leaked by Russia.
This is just absurd.

Remember when Trump was going to vastly increase funding to Ukraine and you were copy pasting General Kelloggs bio everywhere?

It’s our plan, no it’s Russia's plan, err no it’s a bi-lateral plan.
Keystone cops.
President Trump, you must know the world is watching this chit show.
