So because they defended themselves against an invading force they aren't intelligent? Are you french or something cause that seems like a very french way of thinking?

The seething above is indicative it hit a nerve. "Why didn't they do it earlier durrr". That's why it was called a SMO, not "war". Being that Ukraine is a proxy and Ukrainians can't take control of their own foreign policy Russia might have to seriously destroy them to the point of being not worth rebuilding. It wasn't exactly glorious before the war, it certainly will be far less glorious after. Maybe a small gas pump for Russia to sell it to EU cucks. I doubt there's any serious deposits of any rare earths Trump was "bargaining" for.

LOL triggered. Russians kept their nukes, didn't allow globohomo to turn them into Ukraine. Ukraine actually sold off their nukes, strategic bombers and then went on anti Russian foreign policy and throwing internal coups with USAID bucks. That's full retard, something you're intimately familiar with.

Wait I'm confused. Are you saying because Russia is calling it a special military operation and not a war, that's the reason it's taking them so long to beat Ukraine? If that is what you are saying can you provide any logic and reasoning behind that?

They could have cut a deal in summer of 2022 and not lost million some men and been depopulated by nearly half. But because Ukraine is a puppet powers that be kept it going and went with a complete destruction of Ukraine using it as a ram to wear out Russia's bear claws. It's a sacrificial pawn, and it allowed itself to be just that.
Super dumb country.

There's a reason Putin is wording it like that. War brings a whole set of internal domestic policies that I'm not familiar with but there's a reason he's doing it like that along with approach in dealing with civlian population in Ukraine. Russia clearly couldn't outright level Ukraine because so many relatives lived there and vice versa along with Russian supporters, but after 3.5 years, I'm pretty sure things filtered out and filtered through. What's remaining in Ukraine is of very little significance to Russia.
As an example, Ukraine's top general Syrski's son is a huge Putin bro/Russian supporter living in Australia. Syrski's whole family live in Russia.

Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi's parents, including his father Stanislav Syrsky, live in Russia . Stanislav Syrsky is a retired Russian Army colonel. Key details about Syrskyi's family in Russia: Medical treatment: In July 2025, Syrskyi transferred money to Russia to cover his father's medical expenses for a brain disorder.

Ukrainian drones strike Russian oil depot in Rostov region
quote:
Strike drones attacked an oil depot in the settlement of Matveyev Kurgan in Russia’s Rostov region. Published videos show thick smoke from the fire and drones flying overhead, according to Astra.
"In the settlement of Matveyev Kurgan, Rostov region, UAVs attacked, most likely targeting an oil depot. Earlier, at least two drones flew over the area," Astra reported.
It is noted that the Matveyev Kurgan oil depot, operational since 1955, supplies fuel to organizations across various sectors and also conducts retail fuel sales through its own gas stations.

None of them were facts, but your coping fantasies, i.e. opinions. If cope like what you dropped on is was reality, Ukrainians would have retaken all the land they lost and pushed Russians to Ural mountains. Lol
LOL. Are you someone's alter, or are you one of the bots that Prigozhin used to run before Putin killed him?

This is what an impact from actual strikes with actual warheads and actual missiles looks like. Given Ukrainian source and messanger more than likely things are much worse for Ukros.
Sure, Ukraine will now have to import natural gas this winter. Guess what? Europe can afford it and deliver it. Can Russia source and afford the gasoline to replace the capacity that Ukraine destroys every day? Of course not.

Benz has been wrong on Russia. His expertise is in treaties and agreements on communications. That's all he did at the State Dept.
Natural gas is cheaper than in 2021
Try harder, you keep presenting losing arguments.
FTR, Industry has been moving out of Germany since 2011. It's chemical and catalyst businesses to the US and other manufacturing to Poland.

It is crazy how my prediction a month ago was spot on. You NAFO trolls need to start calling me Nostradamus Barron
"Sergii Koretskyi, chief executive of Naftogaz, Ukraine’s state energy company, said in an interview that Russia was again seeking to sap morale with targeted strikes on energy infrastructure, as it has every year since 2022. The difference this time, Koretskyi said, was in the frequency and scale of the attacks — with hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles on an almost nightly basis...
An October 3 attack on facilities in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions was described by Koretskyi as 'the most massive and the most aggressive attack since the full-scale invasion started'. He earlier said that a 'significant portion' of Naftogaz infrastructure was damaged in the assault, with 'some of the destruction' described as critical.
A second massive attack on gas infrastructure followed on Sunday, targeting gas storage facilities.
Maxim Timchenko, the chief executive of DTEK, Ukraine’s largest private energy company, told the FT that 'our assets are being attacked every day. Every day they damage some piece of equipment'...
Russia’s drone strikes are 'becoming more massive, more precise and definitely they are using AI', Timchenko said. 'If they select a target and send 50, 60, 100 drones and missiles then it’s very difficult for our air defence to protect these facilities."

It would do you some good if you actually read the history of Ukraine turning over the USSR's nukes to Russia after Russia, the United States and Ukraine signed an agreement to guarantee Ukraine's "territorial integrity" and to not use aggression to interfere with Ukraine's internal politics.
Of course, Russia broke their promise as they almost always do.
