Yeah I knew he was a fricking psycho the first time I interacted with him.
I said something fairly minorly anti-Ukraine. Not even pro-Russia or anything at all. He gets so upset that he goes through my post history and finds a post I made where I was "considering" semi-retiring and traveling full time with the kids in a luxury RV, at least for a few years because I thought it would give some interesting life experience compared to sitting in a classroom all the time. I say "considering" in quotes because I literally thought of it the night before and wanted to get various opinions on it from people outside of my own bubble, and the whole thing never went anywhere. I was pretty much window shopping the entire idea
So anyway he went on using that as an insult and trying to attack me and my family about it, acting like we were poor and HAD to live in an RV

He definitely has some Psychiatric Issues. Maybe the Russians got a hold of him when he was in Moscow and tortured him causing his Issues.

It's actually both. Person's convictions may originate of out of being slow, but then he continues to deny reality and refusing to admit he's wrong by just blatantly lying. It's a shitty type of personality, I see lot of leftists suffer from that lately. Even when faced with reality they'll just lie and deflect.
I have an aunt like that, except she was intelligent academically but her bleeding heart clouds rational thinking and when she faceplants into reality she just makes up nonsensical denial or refuses to admit it. She's been blissfully wrong about almost everything involving politics and foreign affairs, like a reverse image of reality.

Its a mindset that the victim must never be criticized. If you are the victim (which Ukraine is, to be clear) you are above any and all criticism. That is why he and others have to virtue signal in here, to prove really to themselves that they are "good" people because they are "helping victims".
Really the virtue signaling accomplishes nothing though. They consider me to be "the other side", but I know and regularly state that Russia is the villain here. What are they really going to convince me of? Anyone who doesn't think Russia is a villain at this point isn't going to be convinced. They don't have to convince their ideological brethren. So its really just about convincing themselves.

Reminds me of Fredo telling his viewers back when he was on CNN that only media is allowed to read and analyze Hillary Clinton emails because it was "classified" and they had proper credentials and understanding.
To say something dumb like that after "COVID trust the science". It was all bullshite and they all conspired to lie. They even tried lying about an obvious origin of the virus.
The 4 years of covering "Trump-Russia" collusion by fake news followed by "51 CIA agents" saying Hunter Biden's laptop was "Russian disinformation" and Twitter banning New York Post coverage of it or any coverage of it. They all had their clearances revoked now because they lied and conspired to mislead.
You can't hate these dishonest fricks enough.
