Something you demonstrate here every single day that you don't have or understand.

Ukraine's commander-in-chief: Russian troops encircled on Dobropillia front
VALENTYNA ROMANENKO — 29 September, 11:18
Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has stated that Ukrainian defence forces had encircled some of the Russian units attempting to advance towards Dobropillia in Donetsk Oblast and reported Russian losses.
Source: Syrskyi on Facebook
Quote: "Thanks to the well-planned and courageous actions of our troops, part of the enemy units found themselves encircled.
Total Russian losses on the Dobropillia front amount to 3,185 personnel, of whom 1,769 are irrecoverable.
The invaders also lost 969 weapons and items of military equipment."
Details: Syrskyi noted that during the counteroffensive operation [the timeframe was not specified in the statement – ed.], the area of liberated territory now stands at about 175 sq km. In addition, nearly 195 sq km have been mopped up of Russian sabotage groups.
He added that, based on reports from field commanders, he had set tasks and issued instructions to improve the effectiveness of long-range fire strikes against the enemy, to neutralise Russian sabotage groups in designated areas, and to enhance coordination between Ukrainian units.
Background: The city of Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast, where no critical infrastructure is currently functioning, has been completely closed to entry. Only the military are allowed in, as countersabotage measures continue there.

Zelenskyy congratulates Moldovan president on her party's election victory
Ulyana Krychkovska, STANISLAV POHORILOV — 29 September, 13:00
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a conversation with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, congratulating her and her party on a major win in the parliamentary elections and stressing that Russian subversive efforts have failed.
Source: Zelenskyy on X (Twitter)
Quote: "I spoke with President of Moldova Maia Sandu. I was glad to congratulate Maia on a very important victory and wish her success. These elections showed that Russia's destabilising activity loses, while Moldova in Europe wins."
Details: Zelenskyy said it was crucial that Moldova managed to defend itself effectively against threats, along with those who supported it.
"We always support Moldova. We will continue working together. Jointly overcoming challenges and building a future where our peoples have strong prospects – in security, in the economy, and therefore in social life," he added.
Background:
French President Emmanuel Macron expressed support for Moldova following the election, calling the outcome "resolute".
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said the victory of Moldova's pro-European ruling party offered an important lesson "for us all".
Moldova's ruling party Action and Solidarity (PAS), with 99.5% of ballots counted, has passed the 50% threshold in the parliamentary elections held on Sunday.
This gives PAS an estimated 55 seats in the 101-member parliament, meaning Sandu's party secures an outright majority despite overt efforts by Russia and pro-Russian forces to seize power.

This is my view as well. Trump wants to wash his hands of what he increasingly sees as an unsolvable problem.

Another example of brilliant Russian tactics. Just like Pokrovsk, instead of circling the city and cutting it off from supplies let's just attack it directly and turn it into a 3 month meat grinder.
