Ok, some confirmation of a tanker hit at the Primorsk port in the Leningrad region. Was it moored at the loading dock??? We can only hope.

Last night, Ukraine’s Security Service struck Russia’s largest Baltic oil terminal in Primorsk — a key hub for the Kremlin’s “shadow fleet” that bypasses sanctions and exports up to 60 million tons of oil annually, worth about $15 billion.

The attack ignited fires on a vessel and at a pumping station, halting shipments. Estimated daily losses for Russia’s budget could reach $41 million. SBU drones also hit several pumping stations feeding the Ust-Luga terminal.

US Congress Challenges White House With Bipartisan Push to Strengthen Baltic Defenses
quote:

WASHINGTON DC – In a forceful, bipartisan legislative move, the US Congress on Thursday morning approved an amendment to establish the Baltic Security Initiative (BSI), a program aimed at deepening security cooperation with Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

The action follows growing alarm over recent Russian aggression, including a drone incursion into Poland, a NATO ally.

The amendment to the Defense Authorization Act, introduced by Congressman Austin Scott (R-GA) and supported by Representative Salud Carbajal (D-CA), authorizes the Secretary of Defense to formalize the BSI.
quote:

The House’s decision came as lawmakers expressed deep concern over reports that the Pentagon was considering ending security assistance programs for European allies, including the BSI.

During floor debate, Congressman Carbajal called the potential funding cut a “massive gift to Putin” and a dangerous signal to the Kremlin.

The amendment’s supporters highlighted the Baltic countries’ strong commitment to their own defense, noting that they already exceed NATO’s defense spending targets and are on track to spend over 5 percent of their GDP on defense next year.

TACO ain't gonna like this. TACO's boss ain't gonna like it either.

Thanks for the reply and opportunity to clarify. 'Distillates' without the qualifier would be any products of the distillation process. I wrote 'Distillates', because we actually don't know which grade was in those Ru pipelines and I'm too lazy to list all the possibilites.

To further clarify, as you know, Distillate Fuel Oils are the grades including diesels and various heating oils, but excluding gasoline or anything of a lighter fraction than diesel. Thus the use of 'Distillates' for the pipeline contents.

The term Distillates is most commonly used to describe the various grades of the Big Three - diesel, gasoline and aviation fuel. These three products are the ones that we commonly find in pipelines. Sometimes all three in the same pipeline, but I digress...

Heating oil is the same as diesel, the only difference is sulfur content.

Distillates specifically refers to diesel and maybe kerosene. A refining unit to process diesel is called a distillate unit, not a diesel unit.

That being clarified, product pipelines use batch methods for gasoline, diesel and jet fuel (kerosene) which do intermingle where each batch meets the other. This is called transmix.

EDIT Grok or Google is likely going to give bad info on this. Both give bad info quite often.

More Propaganda from the Neocon Deepstate Rag The Atlantic debunked. It was clear this picture circulating was not due to the Drone attack

If you haven't noticed that for decades media outlets often use stock photos and actual photos.

So Meh on your expose.

On an interesting note, Diamond Crystal's engineer who handled awarding of the demolition of its salt mill at Jefferson Island, LA (which Texaco drilled close to, not into, thanks to wrong coordinates given by Diamond Crystal, causing it to flood) told me that the article in the Atlantic was the best description of what took place that day of the disaster. Then again, your dad likely wasn't making sperm back then nor your mom making eggs.

Ukraine is doing more for NATO than 98% of NATO members.

They will be accepted into NATO, eventually... once Orban is neutered or out of office and the US isn't afraid of Putin.

Since he's back JB has not been the firehose of filling up entire pages by himself that he was in the past.

Beyond that, there is a distinct difference in "post quality" (to quote the reason - "suspected alter/post quality" - I was given when I was banned by someone on the Poli Board for being one of 3 people who insisted the 2020 election was not rigged and there would not be a successful coup to stop Biden's inauguration) between JB and Cypher and Couer... JB just posts troll accounts that spread outright lies about everything. Cypher usually immediately posts something proving them wrong.

But "both sides are equal" I guess... whatever

Incorrect, I post the War Updates from both Pro Ukraine accounts (Rob Lee, OSINTdefender) and Pro Russia Accounts (Lord Bebo, DD_GEOPOLITICS)
Most of those post are articles from Politico,WSJ, New York Times, etc. which are definitely not pro Russia l. You can't find 1 post of mine that was a lie and debunked by Cypher. Matter of fact...I am the one who post the outright lies like I did today about the Deepstate Neocon Globalist Rag The Atlantic posting a lie about a house in Poland that was hit by a drone when it wasn't. You realize you have to post actual evidence of your false claims and lies. I will be waiting for those links with your evidence

AMSTERDAM, Sept 11 (Reuters) - The Dutch government has summoned Russia's ambassador to the Netherlands over the violation of Poland's airspace by Russian drones earlier this week, Foreign Minister David van Weel said on X, confirming an earlier report by Dutch news agency ANP.
"Russia's reckless violation of Polish airspace threatens our European security. That is why I had the Russian ambassador summoned today," Van Weel said, adding he made clear the Netherlands condemns Russia's actions.

"With these actions, Russia is risking further escalation."

Meanwhile, NATO has declared. Operation "Eastern Guard". The first contingent of reinforcement has just arrived to bolster the eastern flank with troops from eight Alliance member countries, including Denmark, France, the UK, Germany and others. In response to Russian drone incursions into Polish airspace earlier this week.

Lot going on in this country right now, but this is far more concerning as it has the potential to drag the US into the conflict.
