Putin need to use the Trump’s blueprint, settle for territory held now, and lick his wounds.
That's not how Putin thinks.

If you're not familiar with it, read Putin's 'rat story' copied and pasted below. If gives insight into how he thinks about fighting the war.

quote:

As a youngster growing up in the 1960s, Putin was a typical Russian hooligan, living with his family in a communal apartment in what was then Leningrad. Several other families, including Putin’s, shared these living quarters, with no bath, often no hot water and a stinking toilet. To get to his apartment on the fifth floor, young Putin had to run up the flight of stairs, infested by hungry rats. Armed with a stick, Putin at first fended off the filthy creatures and ran away from them, before he eventually decided to observe their behavior.

Putin spent hours studying these hordes of rats. Once, as he revealed in his official autobiography “First Person,” a “huge rat” he chased into a corner with a stick had nowhere else to go, so it turned around and attacked him. That frightened the future spymaster, and he was lucky to run away fast enough to elude his adversary.

This incident had a profound psychological impact on Putin. He realized that, if cornered and there’s nowhere to retreat, he must always be prepared to fight back and attack the opponent, like that rat from his childhood.

Ukraine hits Russian command, arms depots, oil and logistics infrastructure.

Putin attacks apartment buildings so that must be KGB style. It seems militarily like a foolish waste of ordinance.

Seems like Russia is lighting Kiev up again. On the front Russia has made some gains to the South in the Zaporizhzhia (no more money for Ukraine until they make city names easier to spell) and Ukraine has had some success pushing back Russian forces in the city of Pokrovsk.

The Chechens whipped the Russians behind the first go round. 2nd go at it, Russia attacked the populace instead of military to win. Russia turned all Chechen cities to rubble.

Rut roh.

First Germany

Now the Frogs. Looking at an IMF bailout.

GB is also looking at a possible IMF bailout. Their economy is tanking.... Greece all over again.

Not looking good for the vassals. Bad times ahead.

How are they going to continue funding Ukraine and spend 5% on military spending when their economies are collapsing?

I predicted Macron and Starmer were on their death bed. Tusk in Poland will be next.

The government in the Netherlands is on the verge of collapse also.
Plus: Ursula is looking for an offramp from the EU. They are trying to send her packing back to Germany as President. Mertz hates her guts. Ursula is a failure. She was a failure as German defense minister. When it came time for her to speak at the meeting in Washington with Daddy and the other European leaders instead of offering viable solutions to end the war all she could offer was "we have to save the children". She is not a serious person.

They all have done it to themselves with their failed socialism, woke policies, green policies and spending billions on welfare on invaders from shithole countries.
The Politics of Moral Framing.

BTW: This is not a Russian news source. It is Times Radio interviewing a former CNN employee.

Thxs good stuff.

I said that was the logical thing to do.
You are 1000% correct, Putin isn’t a logical thinker and DJT is finding that out.

The only way they get their act together is to get rid of their weak socialist governments and it's leaders, wokeness, their stupid green agenda and their social welfare systems. Stop the invasion!!!

If they were willing to do what it takes, which they won't, the people would Mussolini them all.

Their leaders are out of touch with the people. I will give you an example: When Mertz announced recently that the German welfare system can no longer be sustained because they can't afford it or pay for it, he immediately announced right after that they were spending an additional 12 billion on Ukraine. That went over like a fart in church. The AfD is eating. The Germans love their social welfare.
Poland is fixing to erupt because Tusk has refused to secure their borders and enforce laws pertaining to immigration. He is finished in the next round of elections if he lasts that long. The Polish people don't like invaders from shithole countries. They are not going to put up with it.

We suffered through four years of this type crap with Biden. Europe has been driving hard down this road for decades. They spent nothing on their own defense for decades (welchers) yet they are on the verge of bankruptcy. Where did all of that money go? What did they spend it on?

Like I said they have done it to themselves.

Time to pay the piper.

News for the leftists: Socialism fails again!!!!

When they license technology and move manufacturing to Saudi, you can expect orders from US to fail.

The corporations will make revenue with their overseas plants at the detriment to their US plants.

Additionally, execs with several small EPC contractors who lost contracts starting 5 months ago when projects were cancelled. Last week one told me that the only thing keeping their engineering in business was renewable fuels. Petrochemical and refining projects were dead except for a couple of major new plants (Arab money)

You are right in the fact that this is not good. If France and GB have to go down the IMF Greece road that is going to be very very bad for them.

Maybe its time to start calling out and holding accountable the stupid policies of our great European allies? Or better yet they need to hold themselves accountable.

They can either change their ways and policies or they will go the way of other failed nations.
The same applies to us and national debt.

Of course they could always take that $300 billion in Russian assets and spend it on themselves instead of Ukraine.

I am sure Macron and Sir Keir are thinking about that.

If they give it to Ukraine with strings attached, it will be spent in their nations.

i've seen a few reports that the "breakthrough" was allowed by Ukraine to chop up the incursion and already had the Azov unit standing by. This means that Ukraine's dire need for troops may also be not as bad as reported. This maybe hyped by Ukraine to get Russia to make stupid decisions.

As Norway now officially has more money than God, we can expect a lot more of these purchases from US defense contractors.
