The Azov Brigade NAZIs of course.

Ive got no problem with those guys. Right wing patriots defending their nation

What was amusing was how the liberal media spent years hyping them up as Nazis when Trump was arming them with weapons before Russia invaded, and as soon as Biden is in charge the script flips from "Nazis" to "freedom fighters"

Azov brigade got its arse whipped and most of them were imprisoned. IIRC they got released in a prisoner swap a while back, but as part of the conditions they were not let back into Ukraine.

Russian military correspondents are reporting that just minutes ago in Crimea, operatives from Ukrainian military intelligence killed the commander of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, Vice Admiral Ildar Akhmetov.

Ok, this may not be the biggest win of the week. After all, this is what he commanded -

It seems the Armenians and Azerbaijanis have realized their true enemy is Russia, who has been manipulating both governments against each other in open warfare. Peace, and the Iranian border, seem to be secured now for the time being.

quote:

Insider sources report that during [Armenian PM] Nikol Pashinyan’s recent visit to Turkey, Armenia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan reached a certain agreement regarding the Zangezur corridor. According to this agreement, Russia will have zero control over the corridor — it has been effectively excluded from the process entirely.

In response, Moscow attempted an unsuccessful coup against Pashinyan last week using the church and religious elites, aiming to derail the ongoing negotiations. Now, Russia is trying to pressure Azerbaijan as well, but these efforts are also proving futile.

Ultimately, it can be said that a new anti-Russian alliance is forming in the South Caucasus, in the form of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Armenia — one that openly opposes and obstructs the Kremlin’s influence in the region.
quote:

In late June 2025, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan claimed security forces foiled a coup attempt, arresting 16 people, including Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan. The government alleges a plot involving 1,000 individuals forming 200 combat groups to attack infrastructure and incite riots, with audio evidence and seized items cited. Opposition figures, including Galstanyan’s lawyers, dismiss this as political persecution amid tensions with the Armenian Apostolic Church and upcoming elections. International media like Al Jazeera and BBC report the arrests, but no independent evidence confirms the plot. Russia, a key ally, called it an internal matter. The situation is murky, with political motives clouding truth. Further verification is needed. LINK

Bad week for the Ru air force, worse week for the Ru navy...

In Korenovo, Kursk region, a strike on a Russian command post reportedly eliminated Major General Mikhail Gudkov, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy. Over 10 others were also killed, most of them senior officers.

Ukrainian word meaning cotton. It has become a popular internet meme and euphemism used in Ukraine to refer to explosions, particularly those on Russian-controlled territory or in Russia itself. This usage stems from the fact that the Russian word for cotton, "??????" (khlopok), also means a clap or a loud sound, which is often used by Russian media to downplay or avoid mentioning explosions.

Cringe. I follow the conflict closely, and literally never heard it said by anyone.

I've been browsing reddit for 3 years where cringe is peak, and I've not seen it. To be fair I don't spend too much time on r/ukraini or other echochamber, but I still browse them occasionally. It's wild to see it posted here.

So?

What does that have to do with kicking them out?

Ursula and the politiburo don't hate Hungary because of its small economy.

I never said to kick them out. Orban is Putin's cuck FACT. There is a surge of corruption there since Orban got back into office and that could be reason enough not to meet EU standards.

Politico (via YahooNews): Republicans tear into Pentagon’s Ukraine weapons freeze

Republican lawmakers are slamming the Trump administration’s decision to halt some U.S. missile and munitions shipments to Ukraine, warning it risks emboldening Russia at a pivotal point in the war.

I'm sure Lindsay will straighten this all out!

This is all true. Also, there is no procedure for kicking out a EU member, but there is a procedure for stripping a country of their EU voting rights. Look into EU Charter Article 7 for the details. It's been mentioned with respect to Hungary.
