Personally I would rather see a murder in prison for life in general population. That way they can be forced to do manual labor for pennies an hour, have to worry about getting shanked on the yard, dropping the soap in the shower getting old and have to deal with all the problems that come with old age, and dying alone. That seems like more of a punishment than years in isolation on death row followed by a quick and painless death.

Rapists and child molesters have a hard time in prison. They are considered the lowest of lows in prison. Many men in prison have children, have daughters and don't look upon molestors and rapists in a good way.
On top of that, this guy's case was very public.
I didn't say he would be killed, but I'd bet money he gets his a-hole stretched out. He will pay for his crime. It's just the way things are in prison.

Not illegials.
This guy is nationally famous for the murder of a young innocent girl after raping her.
Believe it or not… there is a hierarchy of crimes that is highly frowned upon in prison. Pedos and child molesters are the bottom of the bottom. Rapists and killers of young innocent girls when you are an illegal is down there too.
Add that in with him being famous for it, and it gives more motivation for someone to off him.
