What are we using right now? Something like 934 vents across the state combining use from Covid and other illnesses?

Politicians always give us the worst case scenerio, so they can never be accused of not taking it seriously enough.

True, but mainly when it benefits them directly. The "worst case scenario" would've suggested that Mardi Gras should've been cancelled, but it wasn't because doing so would not have benefited the involved politicians; instead, cancelling Mardi Gras would've been a disaster politically for all politicians involved.
