Oh, that’s such a super critical policy for the future of Louisiana so big kudos to Landry there
Like I’ve said previously and proven by your post, Landry does or says nothing substantive, only culture war bullshite.

It’s terrible that Landry is going to get so many automatic votes despite having no concrete policy positions whatsoever for Louisiana.
I’m leaning Landry because he earned a lot of political capital during COVID an and this fight against Big Tech and the federal government with the MO AG.
But I’m open to hear ideas from other candidates. I like what Nelson has to say plus part of by childhood I grew up in the same neighborhood he lives in right now and we graduated from the same high school.

I never had any doubt that culture war and national political wedge issues would be what you value most, so no surprise you lean Landry.
Some would rather the next governor actually care about the state and promote substantive policy changes to improve it.
But I know that’s not you.

I figured you were in favor of it.
That's why it's critical to stop ya'll.

Yeah, stopping seems pretty important to me.

Wrong.
It’s also nowhere near the top of my policy issues for Louisiana.
But keep fighting national culture wars in state elections. It’s working out so well for the LAGOP

Cool. Why can’t Landry tell us how he’ll improve the state?
No reason he can’t do both. It can’t be because he’s just a grifter that’s pandering to Trump’s base is it?

It's not 2015 - the war just started.

It’s somewhat amazing that you keep doubling down for Landry on the basis that nothing he’s done is relevant to improving our shitty state
“But he said he wouldn’t have vetoed the trans bill!”
That you believe that’s an issue that the next governor of this state should even have in their top 100 priorities is laughable. Sure, ban the freak shows but quit pretending like that’s an important matter in this state. That nonsense isn’t happening here.
Like I said in my first post in this thread, Louisiana’s biggest issue is it’s population.

The culture war, albeit important, is not on the top of my political list of priorities. Landry fighting against COVID mandates and teaming up with the MO AG against the DHS and FBI censorship is what I'm referring to.

I said I'm open. Why reflexively push a potential voter for your favorite candidate away?
What candidate are you supporting for governor and why?
All I said about Landry is he starting from a advantageous position because of the work he did fighting against COVID mandates and Big Tech censorship.

As Governor, what’s specifically would Landry do regarding crime?
I don’t know, but let’s hope unlike Edwards who pushed emptying our jails to lower the incarceration rate, and who us now trying to give clemency to over 50 convicted murderers that he fixes the Juvenile Justice System, he helps tighten the laws that let felons run the streets, he reforms State Police, and he is part of a plan to take back the streets from the thugs.

Your ilk likes to not prosecute criminals, release with no bail, and legalize many crimes.
What the frick do you care about what a republican governor would do?

Landry was very supportive during COVID against all mandates, especially for children.
He was one of the first to join the censorship case against Biden and the feds.
As the AG and a former sheriff deputy, I can only assume he would support prosecutors and back our law enforcement.
Now, is he a typical politician. Absolutely.
BUT….my family will all be glad to have him in office when they start the bs lockdown attempts in the fall.

I completely understand the disappointment we have experienced with Republicans in the past - especially with Jindal. But that isn't a good enough reason to either vote Dem in protest or sit home and not vote at all - thereby allowing the absolute worst possible candidate - the Dem - to win. That is why we have had to endure Edwards the last 8 years.

The head of the State Police is appointed by the Governor. We have seen scandal after scandal in that organization under Edwards who even covered one up in the last election.
You can not be for law and order and the badge and tolerate corruption in the State Police. The people won’t reflect the badge if you do.
