Why don't they just have the penalty phase and get it over?

Depends on how many spineless liberals get on the jury.

Will radical Black activists be allowed to lie their way onto the jury and brag about it afterwards? That happened to Chauvin.

If Kyle Rittenhoise was unarmed he’s have been beaten to death.

Shoot at the shooting range? Now your state machine is watching your reaction.

Use 'em or lose them.

You have a point.

Let me tell this board something: the American legal profession is a ruse. It's an illusion. He will be convicted, put in a cell for life and anyone who works on his case will themselves be a target of surveillance or worse.

You're right but we still have juries. I'm not saying they're perfect but they can decide to go against the state. It's the last thing left

He shot a rapist and a pedophile. He didn't shoot any people.

Well yes.
And when he defended himself, he will face trial for it.
It's like it was in the Middle Ages, if a woman is accused of witchcraft, then she was thrown into the lake. If she was drowning, then honest women. If it came out, it means a witch and she was put on the fire ...

He didn't transport the weapon to the state and there is no indication he illegally possessed it based on the law.

The ENTIRE ordeal is on video, from start to finish.

If he is somehow convicted of murder when it is patently obvious to anyone with a working pair of eyes he was defending myself, it would mean his God given 2nd amendment rights were not recognized.

In which case, I would fully support an armed militia breaking him out of prison.

I haven't been following as close as I should be but iirc, he was not a resident of Wisconsin, in possession of a firearm that may not have been his? (not sure about that) and under the age to legally own/possess a firearm in Wisconsin.

I could be wrong about all that and if so please correct me but if that is the case he has a lot to worry about.

fwiw IMO it's always a better option to attempt at all cost to avoid situations where you may have to use deadly force to defend yourself.

At least in the state of Louisiana there is no minimum age for possession given certain circumstances. I'm sure it's the same in every other state or no minor would ever be able to go hunting. Most require you be with someone over the age of 18 or 21, be in the act of hunting or target shooting, have written permission from a parent or legal guardian, be on private property with permission from property owner, be in the act of traveling to or from work, being the act of traveling to and from one's home, Etc.

Shouldn’t the jury in Kenosha be somewhat more favorable than urban Democratic strongholds like Minneapolis, Seteoit, Chicago, etc. ?I haven’t seen much discussion about the likely jury pool there. I know nothing about Kenosha but the web says it’s 53% Republican.
