His defense team didn’t object to much of anything but I thought they did a pretty good job. They got the states star witness to testify in front of the jury that Kyle didn’t shoot him until the witness pointed his own gun at Kyle’s head.

Ha, he "lied about being an EMT so does that suggest he was really there to help?" The very fact that he helped multiple people shows he was there to help.

also if self defense is reasonable, it wont be unreasonable for a lesser charge. he was either justified to defend himself or not.

Wrong. They are to deliberate on the most severe charge first and ONLY move to the lesser, if they believe no amount of deliberation will result in a unanimous agreement either way

The curfew and EMT things are vertebrae in the backbone of their case. That's how weak it is.
I also dont like that they are allowed to state that the victims were unarmed. Several testified that Rosenbaum was wielding a chain and explosives, and of course Huber went after Kyle with a skateboard.
