We're attacking cocaine shipments that arent coming here.
I didn't say the drug boats were carrying any specific drug/narcotic, my point is an 18 year old girl, who wasn't a drug addict took a pill she believed was a prescription dose of some sort and died from fentanyl. Approximately 1 million Americans have died from drug overdose over the past 10 years.
Wouldn't wish anything bad on you Shrub but if it was your teen son, daughter, niece or nephew who died from a fake prescription pill, would you have the same response?

Killing humans made in God's image is not necessarily sinful, since justice is a good thing in God's eyes and it sometimes demands the life of a criminal.
The real question is whether or not "due process" is always required for justice to be done, and what such due process even looks like. Typically it is, especially in civil crimes, however in war, you can't always capture and try enemy combatants, nor is that necessary or even always a good thing to win a war.
In war, due process can be as simple as identifying a valid threat before neutralizing it. As long as the drug mules are identified as such beforehand, I don't see where the government is lacking in authority or rightness to take them out to neutralize the threat.

which has absolutely nothing to do with cocaine being shipped to Trinidad.
We have a drug problem, and its within our own borders. If you want to stop it, you need to crush demand, not supply.
The laws of economics explain why attacking supply for a 100 billion dollar plus trade is futile and worthless.
We cracked down on heroin, we got Oxy. We cracked down on oxy, we got fentanyl. You end fentanyl, a new synthetic pops up overnight.
