Kid had too many High Noons. Now his white friends will unfortunately come to the realization that their friend’s parents always disliked them for their skin color.

What's the timeline? What I read was that he visited the island with friends on July 4, but they left him behind stating that he wanted to stay. Authorities say that the mom contacted them on July 4, but the friends say that they contact authorities first. So which was it? Did they leave him behind because he wanted to stay and if so, why would they need to contact authorities?

Was he planning to live there, because if he didn't know how to swim, then he couldn't have made to shore from Deer Island.
That's the strange part of the story to me. There's something we don't know just yet, but my gut tells me it has to do with a woman and a jealous boyfriend.

No not tennis. I threw my racket down and it bounced up and gave me a black eye. Then got a flat on the way home. So not tennis.

the area they were in is the absolute worst for rip tides and bad currents. It is actually called the washing machine. The fact that the kids had to delete social media because they were being threatened and harrassed is just tragic. Hey your friend died and now you are being called a white devil and murderer. THe amount of absolute bullchit and vitriol ive seen posted by idiots about this on TV station and newspaper pages is incredible. The blacks are convinced the white kids are guilty. And even if they find what we probably all suspect is he was drunk and drowned they will say it was covered up. SMH.

I learned long ago you can’t be friends and socialize with blacks. They always stuck together.
