What are the tax ramifications for accepting money to pay off taxes? Couching it as a loan won't fly in court, but, the court won't touch this while Biden is in office.

He's an entertainment lawyer. I'm not seeing any direct benefit to him . Weird for any lawyer to fork over 7 figures unless he got some major promises from Hollywood agent types.
Hollywood and the Democrat party have a n almost incestuous relationship. Alexandra Pelosi does documentaries.....Barack and Michelle are doing major movies....I want to say the Heinz kids(Kerry) are involved with some sort of production.

So a studio wants to film in a state but wants tax breaks on filming to promote a revenue stream in the state, build back better helps the state, the state helps the studio.....and the lawyer gets a piece of the signed deal...for legal expenses dont cha know.

Im reminded of a fella in accounting for a large corporation that sent back a execs T&E because he had charged something that was not allowed. The next month he got another months expense account from the fella with a post it note on the top....FIND IT.
