Thanks. I suspected her quote was blown out of proportion.

You are a dumbass if you think this compares to what the Jews went through.

The worst part is that you're so intellectually dishonest as to not even recognize that no one except those trying to obfuscate the argument are suggesting anything that is happening is comparable to THE TOTALITY of what the Jews went through during The Holocaust.

Suggesting that forcing people to prove they have been vaccinated with special ID's is an othering attempt NOT ALTOGETHER DIFFERENT than the othering of the Jews prior to the start of WWII.

Or he just isn't very smart. The Nazis didn't hesitate to demolish anyone who didn't follow their commands. Be it murder, subjugation, or ruining ways of life. Sound familiar?

“Ruining ways of life” is pretty fricking vague.

Especially when for the nazi’s it meant rounding people up and putting them in ghettos, camps and graves.

You need more information to know whether or not comparing anything to the Nazi's is an effective political strategy?

As usual, you assume that everything I say is in defense or support of the left. And once again, that is not the case.

The point remains that MTG does no good in shooting from the hip like that. It only serves to allow the media to set the narrative, which in turn enables weak Republicans to waste time on meaningless apologies.

I would prefer that our politicians be more pragmatic than that.

I do not assume that. One side of the aisle very effectively used claims and comparisons to Nazis for over four years. There was no downside to it for them. It may have offended your sensibilities. It didn’t lose them a single thing. So my statement remains regardless of your real and imagined political stances.

I’m pretty much ok with anything MTG says or does if it helps to identify the weak arse R’s and enrage the Dim Marxists.

So let's look like retards to ordinary people and do it too!!

I'm certainly not offended. I just think its stupid and a sign of low intelligence---the same thing I think when someone on the left called Trump a Nazi, etc.

I fully believe that McCarthy should not be speaker when the GOP wins the house next year but it’s not for something like this.

My problem with McCarthy is that he doesn’t understand the realignment that’s taking happening right now and how the GOP must position itself correctly to take advantage of it.

Jim Banks of Indiana knows how to do that and his memo a while back showed that and therefore he has the strongest argument to be Speaker.

None of your post addressed your previous point. Was the use of Nazi comparisons to Trump effective politically for the Left?

I would argue that it was very effective. Even though it was wrong. Lots of stuff that is completely wrong is politically effective.

He's not dumb.

He knows what is going on. He is fighting it.

Kevin is right. We can't afford to lose any voters. Republicans should run on American 1st policies and congressional members seem normal compare to racist left.

Then how about republicans actually start running on some issues? The democrats are gifting the republicans 2022 on a silver platter with this shiteshow of a presidency and all they can do is attack other republicans.

He shows little evidence that he understands we are in a war. This isn’t some artful dance of differences of opinion. We’re fighting for Western civilization. I don’t think that is hyperbolic.

This guy is not a leader.

He’s a slimy, wimpy, two faced politician.

Republicans may win the House next year but he’ll waste it.

Do you think it’s effective for the right? I don’t. The media will go to bat for the left and everyone knows it. Why play into that unnecessarily?

She could have made the same point without the stupid comparison. Why give the media and the left more ammo to use as a distraction and to make mountains out of mole hills?
