Yea by 2028 he will have lost the momentum that has gotten him to this point. His late Covid response (because he was all in on shutdowns at first) and his culture war against the trans kids issue will be long forgotten.

DeSantis will be fine in 2028. He just needs to focus on Florida.

But I am of the opinion he will formally announce at some point this cycle. But I doubt he makes it a minute past Super Tuesday.

Having no money is a perfect example of how he hasn't been bought even though he was in Congress and on his 2nd term as governor.

How much of Trump’s own money has he used in his campaigns? Shouldn’t be hard to link a campaign finance report, no?

ooh my god. THE BEACHES?

I imagine it was in the Spring, too, right? When Covid first started and we weren't 100% sure what we were facing?

:omg:

Certainly worse than getting cucked by pro-shutdown Fauci for a year, printing trillions to bribe state and local jurisdictions to shut down, and then pushing through unsafe vaccines (again, while empower Fauci who pushed to make them mandatory).

I think this might have happened because he stopped looking like a fresh bold voice and more like someone happy to fall into following a tired old playbook.

“DeSantis didn’t raise $200+ million, with 94% coming from billionaires and multinational corporations, for a gubernatorial reelection race in Florida. Keep in mind all of the major expenses (television ads, mailers, etc.) are coming from outside PACs and affiliated groups“

Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a stay-at-home order that exempted outdoor activities, religious services, and other “essential activities,” citing guidelines from the Trump administration, that lasted one month. DeSantis issued no statewide beach closure order, but at the direction of the CDC and local officials, ordered Broward and Palm Beach County beaches to close in mid-to-late March. Reopening of the state began early May, drawing criticism from the Trump administration.

Absolutely! If they can’t drag their guy across, they would much rather Biden keep the gravy train going than Trump blow it all up again.

What playbook? What, specifically did he do?

He's been associated with big GOP donors, and the Trump machine has tried to turn that into some conspiracy (which his fans obviously love). But in terms of policies, etc., what has he actually done to "fall into following" the "playbook"?

We can also compare this to all the Leftism and Leftists Trump has been associated with, praising, and agreeing with publicly. Assuming your statement is true and it gets the most negative interpretation, is it worse than Trump's leftism?

Um, no.

They know Trump can't win. It has nothing to do with Biden and certainly not supporting Leftism. That's what Trump is doing these days
