Don't be ignorant at this stage. It is such a waste of time.

You do realize that all of the cabinet has to pass muster with Turtle and votes, right? All the others were highly recommended from the 100 plus-- National Security Council of wolves in sheep's clothing Obama left a bow on.

Kemp undoubtedly has a future in DC. The GOPe have big plans for him, he is one of their top prospects. McConnell has been establishing a close relationship with him over the past year.

Oh, Kemp is clearly positioning himself as the next senator from GA after his governorship. He will fit right in with the Thune/McConnell clan. I say Thune because Thune will be assuming the GOP senate leadership position after McConnell retires (IIRC in 2026).

I wouldn’t say ruined him but it gave the MAGA crowd an attack avenue whether warranted or not. It’s clear the the establishment has cooled on DeSantis after realizing he’s actually principled.

From what I can tell it seemed the GOPe was ready to back DeSantis all the way as a way to rid themselves from Trump but have realized that he isn’t a GOPe type candidate. DeSantis legitimately wants to destroy the uniparty.

Kemp has a long list of conservative achievements since he became governor. He has flat out gotten it done without a lot of drama.

I realize that Trump and Trumpkins thought Abrams was the better choice. Hell Trump even said "Abrams might be better than the existing governor" at a rally.
Abrams better

This is telling of the mindset of Trump and Trumpkins. Conservative leadership doesn't matter. You must be loyal and kiss the Trump ring.

My beef with Kemp as an outsider is he should have used some of his political capital to help Trump and the GOP senate candidates over the finish line in 2020 and 2022. Obviously Kemp has a lot of influence in GA GOP politics. It would have been nice if he used his influence to get people that voted for him to come out and vote for Trump and GOP senate candidates instead of Democrats. The margins are thin in GA. Any influence could have tipped the scales in favor of the GOP and this country would be in much better shape.

Instead Kemp chose to sit on the sideline and not get involved in helping Trump or GOP senate candidates win.

Speakers included former House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio; Karl Rove, former senior adviser to President George W. Bush; and former Sen. Kelly Loeffler of Georgia.

Why did he bring in a bunch of democrats in disguise to speak to Republican donors?

That was rhetorical. We know why.

You know, since I cancelled Faux News in mid-2020, I haven't one time had to listen to Sensei Hannity refer to Karl Marx Rove as "the architect". It's been nice.

Desantis isn’t. Trump has.

More uninformed BS from you.

Kemp cut two commercials supporting Walker. Kemp also lent Walker his entire get out the vote team for the runoff. The support was there.

It was also Trump who didn't support Loeffler and Perdue in 2020. The Trump/Lin Wood/Sidney Powell runoff debacle cost GA those Senate seats and cost the GOP control of the Senate.,

They can count on Kemp to move their ball forward (his analogy, not mine). If he slips up, order another carbomb.

His camp is not as confident as everyone projects or he would have already announced like he planned at the beginning of May. The

announcing the fall before a spring run used to be the norm.
Only Trump announced two years out so he can complain when the law indicts his crazy arse. I'm the front runner. this is a witch hunt. seditious conspiracy? didndu nuffin.
desantis should wait until jack smith is vetting jurors for a J6 case before announcing.
the announcement will underline that trump is no longer really viable.

doing it now just gets desantis beat up by trump posts.
the day will come when trump is deciding whether to plea bargain.

I don't bet, but I will be correct. He has no chance of beating Trump or DeSantis in the Republican primary, even in his own state.

Was it true support or half hearted fake support just to politically CYA himself?

And Kemp still didn't support Trump in 2020. Only 11,500 votes. Kemp could have easily pulled an additional 11,500 for Trump if he put a little effort into getting out the vote for Trump.

Instead Kemp is a big reason we have Biden today.
